Not a dress shoe not a sneaker

I bought these for my son for his high school graduation . He usually wears a nicer sneaker, but I wanted something a little elevated from a sneaker so this was a great compromise, not too dressy. The rubber soul made him feel a little bit more comfortable, and I thought they looked nice.He thought they ran slightly on the big side.
