Recommend going down a size
Clear bag was already opened before I received it as though shoe was tried on by someone. 2 silicone packages were also loose in the bottom of the clear bag and not in shoe.Shoe is made of fabric and can be wiped dry. Tongue of the shoe is easy to adjust the width if feet becomes swollen. Although its too large even with my orthotics overall its a comfortable shoe.

Fashionable elderly shoes
They look like “young” people sneakers, but go on so easy for elderly persons with swollen feet. Comfy, stable base , no fuss Velcro closure. Nursing home patient and their PT/OT staff were impressed!

While it's a good purchase, it's not as good as the regular FitVille with shoelaces
I have wide feed and it's really difficult to find shoes in North America. It's simply genetics and nothing to do with a medical condition. Wide feet are a little more common among Asians than Caucasians. Ideally, I need 5e or 6e shoes, but I typically have to settle for 4e in North America.FitVille is one of the few companies that sells good shoes for wide feet over here. I have their regular walking shoes with shoelaces and I love it. I gave that one 5 stars. These ones with a hook-and-loop fastener are convenient and they get the job done as slip-on shoes for short distances. I'm deducting 2 stars because the ridge of the strap that closes the top of the shoes seems to dig into the top of my feet a bit and it can get a little uncomfortable. I much prefer their regular extra wide walking shoes that come with shoelaces. I'll be buying another pair of those once they next go on sale. Overall, I don't regret the purchase and I wouldn't bother to return the shoes.
