Cream of Rice Nabisco Cream Of Rice, 14 OZ(Pack of 2)

Perfect hot breakfast cereal for a gluten free diet. If you love Cream of wheat this is for you. I was missing Cream of wheat & found this & was hesitant to but & try. I’m so glad I did because it’s definitely delicious.

I purchased a four pack of the cream of rice because for a very long time I couldnt find this in any supermarket. I looked far and wide. Finally resigned that another long time staple had dissappeared I was quite happy to find it on amazon. I ordered several times. Now that I have restocked enough for the next year it has reappeared in supermarkets. I remember many years ago mothers and health care always recommended rice cereal for babies children and adults too especially with sensitive stomach problems. I dont have that issue but rice cereal is easily digestible and gives needed energy without weighing you down. We sometimes eat just rice cereal with fresh berries or whatever fruit one prefers and would do so for dinner too. Many recommend the evening meal be lighter as we get less active and ready to go to bed in a few hours! Maybe if we started eating reverse order like heavier or hearty breakfast, average lunch and light dinners we wouldnt have the degree of obesity that we do in America. Of course there are other considerations just a thought!

I like the taste and that it's gluten-free. However, I wasn't crazy about the size of the boxes for how much I spent. I purchased, more out of convenience, because I couldn't go to the store.

I missed cream of wheat but my gluten intolerance made it certainly not worth it to try to contine eating one of my favorite breakfast meals until I found the rice version. It is a tad more expensive of course as I find everything gluten free to be. But now the creamy breakfast I like with milk and brown sugar is back on my menu so I am quite pleased.

I love my Cream of Rice. However, with most supermarkets no longer carrying it I have to go online to find it, and pay an inflated amount of money for a couple boxes.

I use to be able to buy this at my local Walmart in Texas, but after relocating to Indiana couldn’t seem to find it anywhere. So glad I was able to buy in Amazon just slightly higher a price but I well worth it. If you have a sensitive stomach but like a nice hot gluten free alternative to cream of wheat; you’ll love this. I make it with water, a dash of salt to a full boil, add the cereal and a touch of raw sugar or agave and a splash of heavy cream. Wonderful on any day!

If you love cream of wheat you will definitely love cream of rice. I do the rice diet and this makes a great alternative for just eating rice all the time. I add fresh strawberries and blueberries it's truly delicious.

This product is perfect. It is exactly what I was looking for as I wanted to stay off of wheat. It is just delicious. And I could not find it at my local groceries, so ordering it from Amazon has been convenient to one who lives in the country.

Excellent high iron hot cereal. Easy to prepare. Bought at my local grocery two years ago for$3.99 a box so I found this pricey at over $20.00. Bought from Amazon, as I could not find it on any of the grocers any longer.

DO NOT BUY !!!! One tiny little box of $22 !!!! It shows 2 boxes, very misleading! Not to mention it’s sooooooo small compared to Cream of Wheat!
