I have the 4 piece ultralight 8ft rod. This rod lives in my truck. It breaks down super small and the case it comes with is great. I use for small game inshore saltwater fishing. I haven’t hooked up to anything that really tested its back bone but it feels like a competent rod. When placed to together it’s very light weight. The rod itself is really thin being an ultralight. I wouldn’t expect to handle rough housing and being slammed against rocks. (Especially where I’m from where the shoreline is all jagged volcanic rock) The Fuji rod guides are perfect. I currently have it paired with a Daiwa Saltist Backbay and its cast ability is solid. It has nice tip where you can really feel what’s going on underwater. The price to performance ratio seems solid. For a rod you want to just keep in your car or take with you on a vacation. It’s absolutely perfect. Worth the asking price imho. Check it out.
