Works as described on my iPad Air 11” M2 w/ my Smart Folio A2038. I don’t notice any appreciable gap. There are black strips on the outside, but are not obvious due to the black frame on the iPad. I believe they’re there to assist with open/close function of the iPad with accessories. Provides privacy as good or better than competing privacy filters. All items were included for the install.

Great even after one year in grad school!

This screen protector is great - it is very much full privacy.It also has really great smooth magnetic strips across the top and bottom, which allows for the protector to be removed and held onto until wanting to reattach.My only complaint is it has the tiniest space between the protector itself and the ipad screen, so when using an apple pencil stylus, it doesn't allow for smooth, straight lines to be drawn. BUT with it being so easily removed and reattached, and it coming with a nice holder, it is still quite worth it.

I wish I read the instructions before throwing everything away but I use this for work and I love the privacy it has. From the sides you can’t see anything you’re working on only if you look directly at it. So if someone is standing behind you or walking past you from behind they will be able to see your screen. Otherwise I love that it has a magnet on the sides so you don’t have worry about bubbles and messing up, it is removable (but I accidentally threw the protective cover away before knowing this). Not your typical screen protector, go ahead and buy it.

CORNER OF CASE BROKE OFF AFTER ONLY 39 DAYS OF USE, WITHOUT A SINGLE DROP.I would not trust this case to protect anything. The corner of it broke off from just 39 days of simple use going into a back pack and being taken out. AND I dont even use it daily. many of those 39 days, this iPad and case sat home on a desk. WTF ESR?I suspect the break is a result of the way the kickstand folds out. It is so hard due to the tightness of the hing that it puts pressure on that corner which is around the camera opening and so has less plastic anyways. That corner needs more reinforcement and a better design.

The privacy aspect is cool, the view angles are good. It’s not clear so it does make the screen look a little grainy but it’s magnétic and removes easily so that’s not a big gripe. The fit is excellent and perfectly sized… but the finger prints, good Lord! There’s smudges even from the lightest touch. I thought it was my hands so I went and cleaned them and sure enough the iPad had locked so I tapped in my code… and the smudges are back.

Ordered the privacy screen protector for the ipad. This is my first time trying this type of product. I didn't see much of a need for it on my iphone because it is a smaller screen and text is much harder to decipher when othes are next to you. I generally use my ipad at home so this privacy screen protector was an after thought. My usage has changed from a media consumption device to getting actual work done. Because of the bigger screen, it is difficult to maintain your privacy when people are sitting within close proximity in a car, bus, train, or plane. Not only does the privacy screen protector work well, it has a pleasant smooth feel to it while using the Apple pencil. It works well for what it was designed for while providing good quality at a fair price.

As far as magnetic privacy protectors for iPads, this one is insanely good. Just the packaging alone felt high quality. The privacy is above average, don’t have to have brightness as low as others, and the privacy filter kicks in quicker from the sides than others.
