EDIT: I received a replacement that was much closer to what the image portrays and quite frankly what all of the lamps provided should look like. This salt lamp was actually pinkish and dimmed down the 15w bulb a lot so that it wasn’t as glaring anymore.This product deserves two stars because it did work when I plugged it in. However the salt that came with mine was not pink at all, AT ALL. It was completely clear, and pair this with a 15w bulb and it caused a very glaring, unpleasant glow. It did not glow the warm peach color with contrast on the salt. This salt was very cheap. Also, the box it came in was riddled with false info, for instance, “[the] scientific name of crystal salt is rock salt,” and “crystal salt (commonly known as: crystal salt).” I’m not kidding folks, it says that crystal salt is commonly know as “crystal salt.” You don’t say...

Okay- I love this product. We ordered it for our sons room, I wanted a night light that looked natural and simple and one that wasn't going to emit a bright white light. This is the one we chose, and we are so pleased. It is heavy and well made, but sturdy in the outlet so our little one cannot pull it out easily. It also emits a very calming colored light (a nice orange-pink tone just like the salt rock itself) and it dimly lights the WHOLE room due to the 360° coverage of the salt rock around the light. 100% would recommend.

These are great! High quality. Authentic salt. I bought 3. The only issue was that they come with 15w bulbs in them, which is way too bright to use as a night light. I bought 4w bulbs and replaced them. Much better!

This came in a great little box so if this is something you want to give as a gift it’s ready to go. Keep in mind the “salt” part will really vary, mine is super pale so the glow is just like a blush pink. Still very nice! But don’t expect exactly like the picture for yours. It’s a solid little piece with a lovely glow and easy to change the bulb. Little tip: if the color isn’t enough you can try an orange or pink bulb to oomph the shade. I did. Interesting options but turns out I liked the blush color better so maybe you really do sometimes get not what you want but what you need.

This gives great light and is perfect for our hallway. We leave it on a lot of the day as our living room and hallway do not get any outside light (NYC life) so this is perfect for illuminating the way without having to leave a light on all day. Surprisingly doesn't get too too hot when left on all day, which makes me feel safe. I am not sure about the benefits as it hasn't done anything drastic for us, but I'm sure it's all true if it were in closer proximity. It also looks nicer than a regular night light and gives off a soft glow rather than harsh white light.

This product more than met my expectations. When I opened the package I was disappointed in the color of the salt. It was more pink then the orange I was expecting. After plugging it in, all doubt was removed. The color of the salt, the amount of light emitted and the overall appearance was better than imagined. I highly recommend this product.

I love the idea of this night light - but when it arrived, the rock salt on my light was almost white. I specifically bought it for the warm amber glow as pictured in the listing. When plugged in, the night light I got is far too bright. I have returned the original and hope to get a replacement. I cannot find a way to contact the seller directly, so I am just ordering a new one. I will update this review if the replacement is as pictured.

I have a large Himalayan Salt Lamp but wanted a smaller night light. It creates enough light to find the bathroom but not so bright as to interfere with returning to sleep.

I ordered twice from this seller, both time arrived quickly, well packaged. It's substantial.The first time my item has much more pink color in it. It does give a warm glow, but NEVER as warm as in the picture. The second time I ordered 2 more (shortly after I received my first order), both are VERY VERY PALE, almost no color at all, the glow is like your ordinary white light bulb, very disappointed, especially compare to my other Himalayan Salt Lamp in the house. If they were much pink than almost white, I would gave 5 stars. So, buyer be ware.

I bought two of these at different times. The first Himalayan salt night light...there was hardly any pink in it, it looked white. The second one is so much better. I need to buy another one. Hopefully I get another pink one.

Delivery for me took 6 weeks. It came from China, maybe on a slow boat. Overall, I am pleased with this product. The colours are quite nice -- varying shades of orange, cream and white. It's sturdy and provides a nice ambiance in my hallway. The stone is slightly heavy for the wall plug so it tips forward a wee bit. The claim that it cleans and purifies the air sounds dubious to me. I think opening the windows to let in fresh air does a better job.

This is so beautiful, I have it on in my bathroom all the time. The warm light makes your complexion look beautiful. I leave this on with the rest of the lights off while I take a bath, and it’s the ultimate relaxation. Just make sure not to do that when you’re already tired if you’re gonna do the same, because the warm light colour has the same effect as the sunset which naturally makes you relax and get sleepy. I bet it would be an amazing night light for kids, to help with sleep! Himalayan salt also does something with negative ions which makes dust accumulate lower to the ground rather than the air, so it makes your environment more clan and breatheable :)

Perfect for a dimmed ambient light. I use it as a reading light when winding down before sleeping. The light in itself is warm and relaxing, but bright enough so that you can see sufficiently. I would say it’s too bright to be a night lamp.I’ve had the lamp for almost a year now and it still works great!My only issue comes from the nature of the material. My apartment gets excessively humid in the summer. That caused the salt part to absorb water, and when reached saturation, drips of salty water would fall from the lamp. Since I put the heat on, it hasn't been a problem.
