Q: does anyone else's unit have a very strong odor? like chemicals? i've washed the metal containers and wiped and it's been weeks

We have had our set for about 3 months and is used several times a week by my wife at her business for lunch; we have not had any odor issues at all.

Q: the steel bowl used inside of standard size, are they available Online to purchase, share resources?

Just buy the same size and material and you can use it, we are very sorry that we don't sell the inside bowl separately.

Q: Can I use the converter from wall plug to cigarette car plug?

The product listing says that it uses 200 watts. A 200 watt inverter isn’t very expensive. However, most car cigarette lighter sockets will overheat or blow a fuse at more than 100 watts. You will need to either connect it directly to your car battery or get higher power wires added. A car stereo shop can do that. You will probably also need to run your engine while using it. You don’t want to drain your car battery.
