Science & Research-Backed book ever!
This book got me in the Introduction itself. "Life has no meaning and to fill this hollow space, people need stories (adapted)"Story-Telling is an integral part of human survival. And understanding how to put up a story to trigger emotional elements of mind to keep a viewer intrigued is what this book digs deep into. Loved the effort author has put in to convey the points in a completely science-baked format rather than bullshitting with theories. You have to take this book slow in order to consume and understand the point author puts across.

Huge insights on how stories operate on our brain. A page turner.
Absolutely fantastic (and science based) explanation of how extraordinary stories interact with the processes in our brain. The concepts of the flawed self and the dramatic question that forces the protagonist to make a choice. The two levels of a story - the visible events, and then the invisible things that happen in the minds of the characters. For a non-fiction book like this, this was a pure page turner and an absolutely delightful read.
