Definitely worth the purchase
I've declared all out war on the moles, which are wreaking havoc on my yard. I bought 4 traps, mowed the entire yard shorter than normal, rented and ran a sod roller over the entire yard to compress all of the mole trails (the rental was about $8), watered everything to make the worms more active, and then placed traps last night through the new trails after I had prepped the lawn. In less than 24 hours I have now caught 2 moles and am hoping I can rid my yard of these things for the rest of the season. I would include pictures, but no one needs to see more dead moles. The traps did pop unexpectedly a couple of times when I first put them in, but I just adjusted the position of my foot and gave it more pressure. The first setting is a little more difficult because the springs are new, but it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be (I weigh about 175). I use a pair of latex gloves whenever I touch the traps so it doesn't leave any human scent on them. I wish I had done this weeks ago.

horrible product
bought a 2 pack of these and a 2 pack of another brandhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C5C1Y2F3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1the letyanger product is a buyer beware definitely. almost impossible to set. i'm 185lbs and can hardly budge them standing full weight on them- then they won't set 9/10 times you do finally press it down to the ground. springs and arms are just way worse than the above linked other product. springs appear to be too small and tight. on the other hand, have caught 2 moles so far with other brand linked above. it's easy to set and has larger springs for snapping.

Only traps that worked
These are the only traps that worked, I bought about 6 others of different makes and of similar type, these are very sensitive and work great! Had burrows right under the pressure plate of others I had, not this one. Set it this morning and caught the little bugger this afternoon.

These work!
They are a bit harder to set than what the internet shows. The trigger sometimes comes past the trap springs and has to be removed and reset. Or held up by hand as it’s being stepped on to be set. Otherwise, great for the price! Thanks

Setting it up
The trap is built sturdy enough, but setting the trigger, the trap seems to want to move of the target.

Great mole traps
Already caught 2 moles. These can be hard to set but they work. You just have to make sure these are set perpendicular to the mole tunnels. The last mole I caught was 6 inches long which is pretty good size.

Mole traps
They don’t work! Moles went right around them. Also hard to set. They sink into mole holes and cave the run in.

Hard to set
I found that the traps are so hard to set that I worked up a sweat. I weigh 195 and put all my weight onto the loader and still had trouble getting them set. Once I got them set, one stayed set but the other self-actuated within a minute. Had to reset it several times to get it to stay. I am not sure if we will catch a mole, but at this point I am considering returning them. My wife would absolutely not be able to set these. Wish they had worked. One thing about them, though, is they are constructed of heavy metal and are solid. Therefore, 2 stars.
