I'm excited to have found such a simple way to keep the condensate drain on my air handler unit clean. This would be great to use in a ceiling or indoor situation where a clogged drain could cause damage. It was super easy to install, the caps remove easily, it's clear so you can visually inspect it for gunk, and it comes with a brush to use for cleaning.

You can save a few dollars by purchasing from China for example. However, we were breathing sewage gases and could not wait. This product is fantastic. All you need is PVC primer and glue, and be able to fit the system into the drain line.For months we could not pinpoint the origin of horrible sewage smells. Turns out the AC condensate line was NOT installed with a P-trap or something similar to prevent sewage gases from returning to the house.As it is not code (in Florida at least) to install a p-trap for HVAC, it took my better half to figure out we needed this type of system.Next day prime delivery, and easy install. Perfect! Now we can breathe normally for the first time in months.

Main AC was clogged and AC dropping out of secondary drain. No way to clean thru the clean out stub, so I had to anyways cut it open. Now it is easy visual inspection and easy to clean thru the 3 opening in every direction.

Fairly good design, did have to add pvc extension to openings as water tended to flow out otherwise .

Easy to see when there is stuff that needs to be cleaned out

My AC condensate trap did not have a clean out and was clogged. I got this so that I could clean out the trap in the future. Had to do some basic plumbing - cutting out the old trap, cutting new PVC pieces, then cementing it all together. If you take your time, it's pretty straighforward. Nice having the clear tubing to see if there is a clog and the rubber caps to enable access to the trap.

Easy to install. I first had a P-trap with no access that was clogged, so cut that out and ran new lines, without a P-trap. I didn't realize the reason why I needed one, but soon as I hooked it up water came gushing out because it cut off the vacuum the blower was creating through the line which the P-trap alleviated. Love that I can see if there's any debris in it and easy clean out with the access.

I found myself with a leaking condensate pan. The clog was apparently right at the fitting on the pan. I cut the line and put this on, so now I can pop the cap and clean thru to the pan, and I can actually see the condensate flowing. Solved the problem, saved replacing the pan or unit for another day. I wish the whole condensate line was clear PVC!
