Loose leaves green tea
This pot of green tea is made in China which we know is famous for good green tea. It is a big volume pot and the tea arrived nicely packed. Those loose leaves are a bit bigger than my old green tea but they are still easy to brew. The taste is a bit too bitter for me and no special aftertaste. Overall it is not bad but not the best. The price is reasonable.

Delicious Green Tea
This green tea tastes great. I like the style of the box too. Presented nicely and would make for a great gift.Tea was easy to brew and did not have any bitterness. Recommended.

A fantastic green tea, with a lovely fragrant taste
I am very pleasantly surprised by this Guangdong green tea. Whilst I have heard of this particular crop of tea, I have not tasted it previously. The tea comes in a lovely presentation tube and you get a very good supply of 200g of product, which is enough to keep you going for a fair amount of time, as I generally use around 2 teaspoons per serving.Whilst I am not a connoisseur, I do drink a fair amount of green tea of all varieties and this tea, for the price is actually very good. I wasn’t initially expecting too much, considering quantity vs price, but this is something that I will enjoy as an afternoon drink. The tea once prepared has a very nice and clear amber colouring and has a grassy appearance and bouquet, with a smooth and creamy consistency that starts off vegetal and ends with a mellow almost fruit/fragrant flower end note. This tea provides fantastic results and you are able to produce multiple steeping from one serving. However, one thing that I would say, the instructions suggest that you prepare the tea using boiling water. In my opinion, this is something that I would never recommend for green tea, as this will almost certainly destroy the flavour notes of such delicate leaves and buds.I really like this product and think that it is really great value for money. I would recommend this to anyone that likes green tea or even anyone new to it. As with most green tea, don’t over brew it, especially the steep, 1-2 minutes is more than enough. Then sit back and enjoy a really flavoursome cup.

If you like a robust green tea, this coul;d be the one for you.
First, I am a confirmed loose green tea drinker. My tea of choice is Mai Feng, and by comparison this Guangdong tea is more robust in flavour. However, if like me you prefer a more mild but still aromatic green tea, then the trick is to prepare your pot and infuser, pour not-quite boiling water in the pot, leave for a minute tnd then discard. Then make the tea in the usual way, leaving to infuse for around 4 minutes. The leaves can be reused for a second pot too, making this very good value. The leaves are long, and the tea a light goldnen colour.

A full flavoured Green Tea up there with the best
The Nature Therapy Sanleaf Ekong Guangdong Green Loose Leaf Tea arrives in a printed cardboard container suitable for a gift.Printed on the container is the expiry date (15/09/24) and use instructions,Guangdong tea is a broad-leaf green tea and opening the container you get a lovely scent of green tea.I did not follow the instructions to use boiling water instead I first used 70C water. The tea is a fantastic green tea. Has a very full flavour - certainly as full as sencha or oolong but with a slightly different taste to both.At £8.00 for 200g I will certainly be happy to purchase this tea and can highly recommend it.

A lovely cup of tea when you need perking up
I only need one teaspoon for 1,5 litres - this tea is of excellent quality. This green tea got a beautiful taste with the depth flavour but it’s not bitter. And it doesn’t get stewed at all even if you leave it long. It has lovely big pieces of tea leaf when brewed and is refreshing and delightful.

A good afternoon green tea. Lovely colour
I love my tea and I'm always keen to try new or different varieties. Green tea can cost an arm and a leg and this one looked reasonably priced for 200g of whole loose leaf tea. This arrives in a card caddy which is pretty standard these days. It's good for recycling but doesn't keep the best flavour when opened.Open the caddy and The tea leaves are long and good quality. There's almost no twigs and appear to be well prepared tea leaves. This is easy to brew. Boil water and let it cool to 70-85 degrees C . Add a teaspoon of leaves to a pot or strainer and add your hot water. Let it brew for a minute or two and it is good to go. If the tea turns yellow/ brown and bitter the water is too hot or been left to brew too long. This brews to a soft green colour and has a subtle fresh aroma. Taste wise it is subtle and less strong than other green teas so it's a good choice if you're new to green tea or just like a mild flavoured brew. This does make for a good afternoon tea and you can easily bree the leaves more than once. This is good quality and the size of the tub makes it good value to. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful.
