I'm reviewing this product "USB C SD Card Reader, 2-in-1 SD/Micro SD Card Reader Adapter" on 20 June, 2023.This memory card reader is a solid, practical tool. It's more advanced than older types (the kind which have proliferated in so many of our desk drawers over the years); it's far more flexible and performant.It connects via USB-C and features two slots—one for standard SD cards and one for microSD cards. You can use both slots simultaneously, and each card can be accessed independently.I tested it with an SDHC Class 30 UHS card. The advertised minimum sustained write speed of the card is 30MB/s. During testing, it consistently hit 43MB/s write speed and 77MB/s read speed, well above spec.The manufacurer advertises compatibility with a whole range of card standards from the past and present: SD, SDXC, SDHC, MMC, RS-MMC, Micro SDXC, MicroSD, Micro SDHC, and UHS-1.The reader's specs also say it's compatible with UHS-II cards, but it reads them at UHS-I speeds, up to a theoretical maximum of 104MB/s. Note that I didn't test with this type of card myself.Other than its performance, there are other qualities to recommend it. It's compact—barely larger than the cards it accepts—and feels sturdy. It looks like it can handle being tossed in a travel bag. It connected quickly to my Mac Mini, and the cards mounted without any hassle.Overall, this is a reliable, high-performing memory card reader that doesn't sacrifice build quality or ease of use. Its design is simple, it works well, and it's travel-ready. Recommended -- and you can clean out your desk drawer a little. You're welcome.

Very easy to use and gives a wide variety of connections to be able to plug into. You can connect different types of SD cards from standard all the way to micro SD without the need of a dedicated reader for each. This all in one reader works super simple. Just plug into a USB-C port and it will automatically register which SD card you insert and allow you to see the contents of the SD card. It can detect and read more than 1 SD card at a time. Cable is very short and depending on where you plug this in, it may dangle in the air as mine did when I plugged it into my PC.

Compact design, nice materials and finish, easy plug and play, reads fast, but, takes some time to copy large amounts of SIM Data. Overall good value especially if you often need to make duplicates. Great for erasing and reformatting used SD Cards.
