I got these for both resin and doing nail art with. They're quite versatile alcohol inks and I absolutely love the variety of colours in this box, they mix so well in resin too rather then using pigment powders and so far the colours I've used have been great and pigmented, some more than others but you're always going to get that in a set of this size. You don't need much either, obviously the more you add the deeper the colour but a little goes a long way and each bottle will last me ages. They do mix well as well so you can make your own shades. Really impressed for the price and would definitely recommend.

This is a really nice set of alcohol inks at, what I consider to be, a good price. There are 20 vibrant pigments and 10 metallics. They are great for painting, creating backgrounds for cards etc and they work well in resin art. Happy to recommend these.

The media could not be loaded.  I have wanted to decorate an old wooden tray for ages but can't use resin as it is not flat. I thought these alcohol inks would be an interesting choice of medium to create a multi-coloured finish. I must admit, I thoroughly enjoyed experimenting using these inks and using Isopropyl alcohol to blend the colours, although it is a smelly process. I was happy with the finished tray too. The problem is, these inks are not water resistant when dry. If the tray gets damp or wet, the inks rub off. I understood that alcohol inks are waterproof and permanent when dry but that is not the case with these inks. It means I will have to varnish the tray to seal it and prevent the inks from bleeding onto surfaces. I would usually use these inks with resin and they would work fine. There is a good selection of vibrant colours and the metallics are gorgeous but they are pretty expensive compared to others available.
