PU
Not leather. This is PU. My bad, I did not fully read the description. Fit is a bit large because does not come in half sizes. Appear well made with excellent stitching. These shoes are excellent for the price point, but look like a cheap shoe from Walmart. Will keep, but doubt they will last long, unless I do not wear them many times.

Overall Excellent Pair of Shoes
These shoes look like classic, but authentic boat shoes. The color is strong and the material is nice. Be warned though they require breaking in as they come a little stiff (so if you’re prone to ankle blisters from new shows take precautions).

Great looking shoes
Very stylish and looks great with casual pants, dress pants or jeans. I would highly recommend buying these shoes.

Cheap
Shoes are cheaply made, wore on one cruise, 5 days and soles were coming apart. Same review for black.

Comfy and seem to be well made
These shoes fit true to size and are comfortable. They are a nice casual shoe or are appropriate for some workplaces. The soles are definitely a non-slip tread. The color block on the back of the heel is a different looking, so my conservative husband hasn’t worn them much. If they were a solid color, he would wear them quite often.

Very comfortable shoes, but a little odd looking…
I have been updating my wardrobe and have always liked this type of shoe, but never owned a pair before. So I came across these, I liked how they looked and decided to give them a try. They arrived week ago, and at first inspection, I was taken back a little bit by how plastic looking they are.I guess I thought they would be more leather looking but not so much. The construction seems fine and they fit true to size, but I don’t know if it is the color or just the make of them, but I wish they looked more like legitimate leather.I will still wear them and I think once they are broken in, they will feel and look a bit better, but I just wish they looked better right away.Overall, they are fine, but they definitely look better in photos and they do in person.I hope my review helps you to make a more well-informed decision.

more structured than the traditional boat shoe
When I saw a listing for these shoes I liked them so much I took a chance and ordered them in what used to be my normal size, hoping they wouldn't be too uncomfortable a fit. The shoes that arrived were larger, by physical comparison, than my shoes in my previous normal size. And the larger size, though a bit too large, gives me the comfort I realize in my hasty judgment the size I chose would not, so thank you to someone out there who loves and understands me. The color is described as white, but the shoes depicted in the picture are beige, not white, reason for my selection, and again I wasn't disappointed. They're comfortable with and without socks and for that comparison a pair of half socks were included, so again, thank you. My podiatrist warns me away from wearing shoes without back support and this includes boat shoes, the shoes I love.. The reinforced back with a patch of saddle colored leather is not only attractive but makes my podiatrist happy. And my podiatrist likes the arch support.

Comfortable and sturdy
So, my formative years were the 80s, and I wore a lot of 'boat' shoes. These bring back fond memories. They are a little odd (they have a tag on the side that normally has the brand; it's blank... and the bottom is clear for some reason), but they are comfortable, and based on the feel, i wouldn't have known they weren't actual leather. The laces are some kind of thin faux-leather -- I replaced them with leather thongs shortly after trying them on, and added some cushioned arch-supports. Overall, they are standing up pretty well to PNW weather (plus I have wide feet; they are standing up to the gentle stretching fairly well), so they are a nice retro-shoe, from my perspective.
