Not enough mushroom.
Not as nice as the (apparently defunct) Maggie/Nestle version. Salty with a lot of flour and not enough mushroom. However, it's a good supplement and stew / casserole thickener. Yes get it but if you find the other one, tell us!

Very very disappointed in 200 potion pot.
Ive bought these Knorr soups many times and they are always good value and very tasty. However I ordered a larger tub 200 portion size this time of cream of mushroom soup as I usually purchase the 25 portion size but I love it so much I wanted a bigger pot. Im do disappointed in this 200 pot of cream of mushroom it isn't the same soup it has zero flavour and zero mushroom pieces in it its just a tastless pot of paste. The smaller 25 portion pot is far superior and tastes wonderful . Why have you changed the way you make this soup? Its horrible and im so unhappy now. As you can see by my account I order many of these soups regularly but if you have changed the ingredients I wont be ordering them anymore this cream of mushroom soup 200 portion pot has no g Flavour and it doesn't even resemble the 25 portion pot you can see it has no mushroom pieces in it at all. More soup than you can shake a very large stick at.
Good stuff if you like mushroom. Goes well with some dried garlic slices and mixed veg. It's also huge, so good for people looking for catering supplies or just buying in bulk.

Our people asked for this because they like the flavor. Makes a good standby or base for something more elaborate.

incredible price hike
I have bought 100's of these, over the past years. Used to be about £20, then crept up, even saw it hit the £70 mark. Its settled at about £45, still too expensive. I have a cut off at £27. Its a really good soup, bain maree stable, easy to blend, not too salty. Add more nutmeg, garlic, fresh herbs and fresh mushroom, it was a useful addition. We all have to make a profit, I think that there will be so much stock left, that it will come down in price. It makes about 30 litres, 34 would be really thin. Also good for risotto, even when thick, it blends well.
