My plate came with a small dot that is quite visible (just below the hello kitty print). It cannot be cleaned off and I think it was glazed over. As I am in Singapore, doing a return would mean having to repurchase it, instead of being able to exchange it. And the price had risen by them. So I was pretty much stuck with returning it or keeping it for a refund. I showed it to my wife (bought it for her), and she said it was fine, so we kept it.
