We've had this ball for about 2.5 years now, and for our ball anyways, what I can say is it has been extremely durable. We've only had to put air in it once in the time we've been using it. I got this initially to work with our son, who has a host of syndromes and disorders, one of which is Autism, and he is currently 4, but was 2 when we got this. This is actually one of his preferred activities...to the point where when I first inflated the ball, he wanted to throw it back and forth with me for close to 2 hours. And boy did I sure do it, because it was one of the few activities we could do with him in at the time that he would engage in eye contact during or indicate any sort of sense of social reciprocity or enjoyment in group play.So for us, why I would say this ball is durable is because he treats it like he does our yoga ball and medicine balls...he doesn't just throw it, he sits on it, and he rolls on it with himself on top and it underneath his tummy. Because in his world, a ball is a ball is a ball. And our little man, who's not so little because one of his syndromes causes excessive growth, is about 53/54 pounds. And this thing just keeps on going. So based on the experience we've had, when he finally manages to kill it, which he probably will eventually, I have no problem whatsoever buying a new one of these. I think it has held up well, it bounces well, he loves it, and I think our ball at least was very well made.

I had lunch with my 7 year old daughter and noticed that she was afraid of these balls in the school playground (she's a little princess :) ).. I looked at the ball, and ordered it from my iphone at the school from Amazon. It's great, exactly the same ball, but allowed us some 1:1 time in our driveway and having her become comfortable with the ball.. She is no longer afraid of the ball, and actually looks forward to it!It was an "instant" gratification order, I love the Amazon app for the iPhone for the ease of ordering, but I hate it because I spend so much money!! ;) The only con I see is that I saw the exact same ball at a local sporting goods store for a couple of bucks less.. I guess I've become so reliant on Amazon, I forget theres actual deals to be had at local stores.. :(

I bought four of these for group kids' games on turf. Of the four, all were in "new" condition and actually inflated to stated dimensions and held their round, ball shape. (Not so with other brands I had purchased at same time to compare: oblong when inflated & damaged right out of the box.) The kids went for these bright, colorful balls first - attractive in that sense. I'll give 'em 5 stars if they hold their air, their shape, and prove durable in the long run. The ball surface is a rubberized, textured cover, softer than a leather soccer ball or basketball, harder than a foam-type ball. One youngster inadvertently took a strong, kickball shot directly to the face from about four feet away. It stung a bit, he cried a little, but came back to play some more with no bruising or scraping. Overall, a good ball choice for games where accidental contact with the ball may occur.

Looks like it should be a good ball but it won't hold air. Goes flat in 2 days fresh out of the box. My husband pumps it up and it has a slow leak because it's flat in 2 days every time. We think it's the air spout. We missed the Return window because it was a gift that I had bought several weeks earlier before my daughter's birthday. She's very disappointed 😞 she loves four square and can't play.

Felt like it should been a little cheaper, but happy with the product overall
