This bag is great! I bought this right after I adopted my pup and started using it as a car carrier when he was only 3 months old. I live in a city and its not safe for him to be moving around the car while I drive. He doesn't seem to mind being in the carrier at all (although he does get car sick on long drives, but I don't think that is the fault of the particular carrier). It has openings on both ends and on the top, so there are lots of options for how to get him into the bag. There's also a way to loop the seatbelt through it to make it more secure. I don't know if that would really protect in an accident, but it's better than nothing. I recently flew with my pup on Southwest Airlines and I was very nervous that this bag wouldn't fit under the seat. It is about 11" tall and has a fairly sturdy frame (this is nice because it doesn't collapse down on the dog). Southwest claims that their underseat areas are only 8" high! I took a chance because I wanted my pup to fly in something that he was already comfortable with. As it turns out, it fit almost PERFECTLY. I even realized after takeoff that I could push the bag further into the underseat area and expand the mesh side! I should say that when I got home, I realized that the frame on one side did get bent from squishing it down a bit. However, this didn't affect my pet's experience and I was able to mostly bend it back with my hands. Also, it only has one small mesh pocket, so I would plan on having another "personal item" carry on to hold the basics that you need for the airport. All in all, I think it's much cuter than other travel bags at this price point, my dog likes it, the "balcony" is nice for some added room, and it fit even under a Southwest seat. I would buy it again.

I bought this dog carrier for my 15 lb bishop to travel in AA and I can tell you it was the best buy and find. Is little high in cost but worth every penny. No problems with the airline, TSA, a ND my dog was super comfortable for the 3 hour flight. I totally recommend the carrier!

This really is a great product and I’m so happy I found it. My dog will only be about 15lbs max once she’s fully grown and under normal circumstances (i.e., in a world when COVID was not a concern), my family and I traveled a decent amount. Assuming we can travel again one day, I really need a carrier that I can fit under the seat when on the plane. This bag will serve that purpose. And in the meantime, I still do drive around town and bring the pup with me. I appreciate that this bag has safety restraints to pull the seat belt through and really secure the carrier inside the car. It’s a well made bag that seems to have very sturdy materials, and the additional bonus is that it has one side that expands (I thought about getting the double expanding bag but decided against it since the dog is small and not likely to stay in there for extended periods of time). Highly recommend this carrier if you’re out and about a lot but don’t want something that takes up a lot of space while not in use (folds down), and don’t want to get a bunch of other gear like a car booster, crate, etc. Of course, this really only makes sense if your dog is very small; I’ve seen a number of people complain that it’s too small but then say their dog is 20-25lbs. I think ~15lbs is really going to be about the heaviest/biggest a dog should be to stay in this carrier comfortably.

I was nervous finding an acceptable carrier for bringing my German Shepherd puppy on the plane but this met my standards. She was 10 weeks old, 25lbs. It was tight but we let her poke her head out the top and clasped her in the inside clasp so she’d stay put. She had enough space to comfortable sleep like that. The pocket on the side is handy, I fit a portable water/food dish in it and some doggie food. I also was able to store doggie bags in the pocket on the front. Great quality! Stood up to her anxiousness and was a comfortable carry. Cute design, would recommend to a friend.

I got this Carrier for my flight to austin TX in American Airlines to pickup my 8wks old boxer pup.. the carrier is sturdy and holds well however it did not really fit under the seat take note i even upgrade to the more spacious seats as i had a feeling it was gonna be tight; since it did not fit and the flight was pretty empty i was able to have it side instead of pushing it under ( which did not fit) and the top is pretty hard zero flexibility so no point in trying to push it under the seat other that that the carrier holds really well pup was comfy and the expandable worked great. Note: make sure your pups dont have the nails too long or sharp otherwise it will get stuck in between the net which happened alot with mine and crying constantly but as soon as i arrived home i cut his nails and file them so to the next day to the first vet visit it did not get stuck in the mesh. I would still recommend this for trips or vet visit is a good pet carrier but did not Fit under AA seats.

It's a very nice cat carrier if your cat never pees in it. I had to wait a long time at the vet and then on the way home my cat just couldn't hold it anymore and peed in the carrier, the removable parts are nice but the whole thing smelled like pee. There's also a wood and foam piece that comes out but cat pee is soaked all over those so that's trash. I had to soak the entire carrier in the bathtub with dawn dish soap. I guess I should have thought about this before purchasing.

I haven't used this for travel with my cat yet, but I already have it open in the living room so my cat can get used to it before we travel. I have a fairly large cat and he has enough room in the bag even without the side open. I was worried that he wouldn't have room, but due to airline regulations I need a bag exactly with the measurements they set out so he is allowed in the cabin with me. But testing it out I am relieved to see that he fits comfortably. The quality of the bag is amazing and there's lots of pockets for my cat's travel documents.

Great carrier. I haven’t used it on a plane yet but I use it for my car travels. The carrier can be seat belted in, and my pup travels comfortably and safely in my truck. Lots of room. Well made, and classy looking

But the size is not valid for all aircraft. I recommend checking with the company you are going to use beforehand.
