The Jawsaw gets heavy when it's at the end of this extension rod, but it still works great! The jaws hold it on the branch so the weight takes care of itself once you position the jaws and "bite" onto the branch. The combination of this and a sturdy ladder takes care of a lot of tree problems around the yard.

This extension pole is exactly what we needed to accomplish the jobs of clearing fence lines of heavy brush and trimming low hanging branches. A great and practical accessory to our JawSaw. Yes, it’s a little top-heavy and so took a little getting used to, but nothing my 70 year old husband couldn’t handle. Highly recommend.

The Worx JawSaw is a significant advance in chainsaws, a small, battery power, safety protected tool. This extender mounts to the JawSaw in about a minute, with no tools involved, providing a long handle so the small JawSaw can be used on branches 12 feet up. The extension handle comes standard on one model, but, I had an urgent need for the basic JawSaw, and a tight budget, so I bought _my_ extender a few months after the main unit. If you have a use for the JawSaw, you will want this extender, one way or the other.

I bought this to use with their Jaw Saw. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, so I am happy with the function. I will add one caveat though, and that is, with the Jaw Saw installed on the end, it is very awkward to try and balance it while cutting because it is so heavy. The Jaw Saw really adds a lot of weight to then end, which makes using this a real tough workout for your arms. Straight overhead cutting is much easier than having to hold the saw/extension at any kind of angle other than vertical. It is not any kind of design flaw, just the reality of sticking the Jaw Saw on the end of a pole. I am glad I have it, as it does help reach further up than just an arm length.

Save your money, the Jaw Saw works fantastic as it’s intended to but with the pole it’s awkward, gets stuck, chain comes off. Does not replace a pole saw. Worx’s pole saw works great and it does a single job. The Jaw Saw is great for cutting apart fallen limbs or cuttings from purposely removed branches. Also pole scratches the handle of Jaw Saw. Don’t waste your money and use tools for what they were intended for .

The Worx saw is kind of clunky to use, but this makes it work so much better. It has a decent reach. I didn't measure how tall of a reach it has, since you can kind of just push on it while cutting, instead of pulling on the handle, which kind of cheats on the height a bit and gives you a bit more reach. Just have to be careful not to try to cut too fast and get it into a bind.

This is the greatest thing ever for cutting branches. I couldn't believe the power this little thing had. It's super easy to use and it's actually kinda fun too. I have done lots of research and this is my 3rd Worx product. They are really great quality and powerful tools. They are not heavy and they are really easy to use. I've been super pleased with this brand.

The Amazon listing is highly misleading on this product. It is inaccurate and possibly out of date. I bought this product only to have to return it. Now I have to pay return shipping for nothing and end up with no product. Total waste of time.
