I love how quiet it is. It seems well built and fits standard filters that I have for a different brand of fountain. The cats love it. I love that I can see how full it is with the little window.

I got it 2 weeks ago. Both of my cats like it, however one of them still lick the real faucet sometimes😆First, of course, cat approved is the most important or no matter how it is great, it makes no use. They inspected it for few minutes and accepted it right away.Secondly, it's really silence 🔕 nearly no sound. I placed it right outside the kitchen and my husband asked me if I have already plugged in🤭 well, I said I did and it's running!Other than that, the material is fine, at least not flimsy. The pump is easy to clean, the instruction is to clean the pump every 2 weeks, so I just did it. It takes only few minutes to clean the whole thing including the pump. So it's perfect to me who is pretty lazy to do such works.If there's any improvement, I'd say if there's a mark for minimum water level outside the tan as well (they have a mark inside the tan), that would be perfect. Now, I did it by myself, I use a marker to mark it (as shown in the pic) in order to remind me refilling water.I saw some comments about the pump which won't last long. I don't know at the moment, will see.

No more build up of any bacteria or slime on the stainless steel unlike plastic water fountains. Excellent quality!

My present and previous cats spilled water all over the floor many times each day.MAGIC ! instantly no water on the floor and this fussy old man switched instantly.He wanted the water to still be moving so I had to add water to old bowl 6 times each day.I was wary he would not use it. Set it on the floor, he walked up to it and drank... What?Clean once each week & replace filter every month.Pro: very quiet.. may need to find the best spot on the floor.Only clean once each week.Easy to clean with soap.Easy to access filter.Easy to refill each day.Window on side is a must for certainty to refilling.Easy to clean the pump propeller every 3 months or so.Cat has never refused it.Con: Pump propeller stops every 3 or so months, easy to clean.Pre-clean pump propeller before going on a trip... cat sitter.I got the wall adapter wet once and it died, but just used my cell phone wall adapter.Life is so much easy, no wiping water at 3 am, no fuss about "water not moving" requiring refills at 2 am and 5 am.

It works great! My 3 cats love it! I top up the water every day and put ice cubes to keep it nice and chilled on hot summer days.
