Save a lot of money repairing myself!!!
Saved at least $300 by replacing my worn dryer belt. When our dryer stopped turning we started to consider our options. We were looking at replacing the dryer. Why stop there, might as well get a new washing machine too amd while at it, redo the laundry room… Ugg… with a little online search I realized there were only a few (approximately 4 screws) that needed to be removed to confirm the belt broke. Once I confirmed and ordered. Replacing took maybe 15 minutes from beginning to end. I am NOT handy and was able to complete with ease. So far belt has held up and best of all my only cost was the belt!

NOT FOR MCE8000AYW
I am sure it is a good belt but it was given to me for a Maytag Dryer MCE8000AYW as the perfect fit. I put it on and after a couple spins, SNAP. Needless to say I was sad, defeated, and felt bad I had put the poor new belt under so much pressure. RIP belt, you deserved better.

So far so good
So gar so good. We have been using the new belt for a few months. It seems like good quality if we make it to 6 or more months of usage I will say it is a good purchase. We watched a YouTube video to learn how to install it ourselves.
