Very nice little B22 (bayonet) bulb. 4W with equivalent 40W output, ideal for low-light areas. Bulb is 45mm wide and 75mm tall, with about 30mm of that taken up by the socket. Great price, 6 bulbs for £13.99 (currently 5% off) and a 10% voucher is also available. Would buy more of these if I couldn't get CORN bulbs which I like the look of a lot more.

I invested time in the past looking for cheaper B22 light bulbs, and surely enough they blew sooner than expected. Pay the extra and get these nice looking bulbs, as they last and last. Bought for myself, Parents and Uncle. Between us only two have gone over many months of frequent use. Like fact that don't just blow, but have kind of an on-off fade by way of a warning.

These are nicely packaged. Unlike some LED bulbs these filament LED ones emit light downward, more like a real incandescent bulb. They are compact golf-ball size, often used in small lamps and wall fittings. The colour is acceptable, not sure its 2700K but does not look cold/blue. Brightness is OK, probably more 40W replacement than 60W but I have a couple in a hallway and they don't feel noticeably dimmer than the two 60W incandescents they replaced.

I replaced an old bulb with the LVWIT B22 Golf Ball LED, and I’m really pleased with its lifespan so far. The 4W LED gives bright, warm light equivalent to a 40W incandescent, but with much lower energy use. The build feels sturdy, and I don’t have to worry about it burning out anytime soon. It’s a simple swap-in bulb that looks great and keeps shining day after day.

These low energy lamps are compact and do not have a plastic base, which when used in light fittings like in the photo, light up the whole of the shade without protruding from the top. (Note that in both fittings, I have only changed one of the bulbs, and left the old compact fluorescent ones in the other two shades of each fitting for comparison). With Amazon prices, it is cheaper to replace all six of these lamps, than it is to buy spare compact fluorescents to maintain them as they were, besides why wait for the old bulbs to fail, when you can fit these great LED filament bulbs and have your light fittings looking how they were designed to look, and save Evan more energy eg. 40W golf ball conventional lamp to 8W compact fluorescent stick, and now to 4W LED filament golfball lamp; the technology we’ve been waiting for! Just for interest, in the second photo, the light fitting on the left has these LED bulbs, and the one on the right has compact fluorescent bulbs. In the middle of the photo is a compact disk being used to split the light spectrum, as seen on the third photo as follows:- on the left is the result looking at the LED bulbs, on the right is the spectrum with colours missing from the fluorescent bulb. Note that in both there is also the result of natural light from the windows for comparison. This phenomenon is not really very important, but is interesting to try at home (be careful when trying it with direct sunlight). The point I’m making is that tha LED light produces the full colour spectrum whereas the fluorescent lamps they are replacing do not!

The bulbs themselves are fine and perform as expected. Like a few others have commented, my box of six contained one bulb with the glass detached though not broken. They are well packaged and I imagine this could be a manufacturing issue rather than damage in transit but no way to tell really. I had thought about returning them but only actually needed five for the light fitting anyway so decided not to bother with the hassle. That faulty bulb reduced my rating to four stars because it shouldn't really happen.

I use this product lightbulbs in my chandelier type lighting unit it doesn’t lock out of place as the bulb is very small but the lights that it emits is really good and satisfactory
