Everything is ok, it fits well

After double double checking my model and the fit, and ignoring the incorrect information (U66) on the Hoover website I ordered this U99 for my Whirlwind SE71_WR01001. I had a slight worry as it arrived in a U66 box but the contents were the correct one. It's exactly the same as the original and fits perfectly. I now have a spare set and a vacuum cleaner that's got it's suction back.Great service.

Bought it when the filter had a funny smell after being cleaned. It is fantastic. It is like my vacuum is brand new! Much cheaper than buying a whole new vacuum cleaner too.

I purchased this item because Hoover Official indicated this model was compatible with Hoover SE71 WR01001. The Hoover spares website directs you to this model so I purchased it here.When I tried to fit it in, the filter was clearly not compatible. The plastic flaps did not fit with my hoover.I had to have it modified in order to be able to fit it in.I rang Hoover Customer services who informed me that there are two types of filters for the SE71 hoover, one being the U66 and the one I needed which was U99. Unfortunately, the U99 seems hard to find and it is pricier.Be aware!
