This licorice suited are needs and was easy to work with. The left over candy was devoured by my helper it was so tasty.

I love licorice shoe laces. I was so excited to receive these, until I opened them. Something happened to them. They are tightly wound and them apparently heated somewhere, some how. They are 1 giant brick. I was not able to peel off any more than maybe 4" of a couple of laces that literally pulled and pulled with all my strength. It's just a giant brick of too tightly packed laces. As I mentioned I believe they were heated somewhere some how because they were just solidly glued together! As for the tiny piece I yanked off, it was a little tart, a little strawberry. Overall, I of course, will not order again. The brick went into the bin. Sadly, it was not edible. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

They're not bad but they're not "red laces" these are not bad at all but these are not what I was hoping I was buying. I want the candy that I could get two packs for a dollar at the corner store by my dad's house when I was a kid. A candy that is like long strings of twizzlers but even that doesn't rightfully describe them. I wouldn't even call the flavor strawberry. Just red lacesz this is like long strands of the Australian licorice. The strawberry is nice and you get plenty and I enjoyed eating them. This is not what I was trying to buy out of nostalgia though. It's aight.

The licorice came in an open in sealed bag. I tried to return or get reimbursed but licorice is a non refundable item.Still not sure if I want to eat it.

It tastes better than I thought it would taste. It was fresh and noticeably strawberry. I usually like Gustof licorice but I tried this kind because it is less expensive. I will buy it again!Update. 5/31/25 This is the 5th package I bought and it does not taste like any of the others. It is waxy and does not have much taste. It is very strange because it is the same company but clearly not the same product. It makes me wonder if they're getting licorice from more than one source. That is how different this tastes from the others that I already received. I would give this product a two. The taste is not good and it feels waxy. I would not buy it again if this is how it will taste and feel.
