DR StringsElectric Guitar Strings, Hi-Beam, Hex Core 9-42

First time purchase of these strings and I am impressed. To any beginners looking for new strings to experiment- "Bright" translates to louder and crisper. These strings will make your guitar stand out of a mix a bit more than standard strings. I put these on a PSR Custom 24 SE and they really helped balance out the darker tone of the guitar.These strings really 'buffed' up the drop D songs I like to play giving a fuller sound. But don't get me wrong- these are great for a wide variety of genres. More response and sustain than my (used to be) go-to Ernie Ball Super Slinkys. Above all- they keep their tone well and are CHEAP! My last set was Ernie Ball Paradigm SS and these are 1/3rd of the price and have already lasted longer!I am going to try out a few other sets DR brand strings since these worked out so well.

These string are my go to for any type of metal to clean sounds. I've used these string for 20 plus years and get the same results every package. try them out for yourself and you'll be hooked.

These are the best sounding and longest lasting strings I have found. They are easy to bend. I like the DR Pure Blues strings too.

Strings were extremely bright sounding when I just put them on. Took about two days until the reached the brightness I liked. Lasted a fairly long time though I will say. I would recommend these if you are into brighter and crisp sounding strings!

My favorite strings. Can only find them online now so this will be my go-to from now on. For the record I use these on a Gibson 335 and they give a nice soft feel without sacrificing tone or sustain.

DR nickel wound...when you cant afford 3000 dollars for a Les Paul or w/e...you can get THE BEST strings here.

I love DR hi-beams, the hex core on the wound strings seems to give them a brighter tone as well as a little more pull.

C'est la raison pour laquelle je les ai acheté.Prince a utilisé ces cordes (marque et tirant) sur ces guitares durant toutes sa carrière.

以前愛用してたPure Bluesがなんか高くなったのと、最近カッティングにはまってるのとで同じＤＲから乗り換えです。まだ家庭用の小さなアンプで弾いただけですが、Pure Bluesと比べて高音弦の出音が濃くなった感じがします。アマゾンで表示されてる音質のグラフでは低域少なめで表示されてますが、低域が少ないというよりは輪郭のある低域という感じです。歯切れのいい音を求めてる方にはお勧めできると思います。もちろん、普通にサスティーンもいけますよ。
