Tire Pressure Monitoring System Wireless Solar TPMS, Tire Pressure Monitor with 4 Sensors Real-time Display Temperature Pressure for Car RV SUV MPV Sedan (Internal)

My 2005 work car has intermittent loss of air from one or more of the tires. I was constantly checking the pressures. I had previously purchased a TPMS system for a trailer, and while it worked great, it was definitely a pain to remove the sensor so you could add or reduce air pressure. I purchased this internal TPMS system and broke the tires down myself at home. Reseated the tire and filled with air. Pretty easy. My only complaint with this monitor is the solar cell is on a pivot that wont pivot enough to give me a good view of the display. The solar cell is meant to be 2 sided taped to the windshield so it gets plenty on sunlight to recharge. My fix for this is Scotch tape. Ugly, but functional.

sensor stem had bad threads.one sensor stem would not tighten, square carriage screw holding stem to sensor stripped and would turn and stem would not tighten. threads on stem and locking nut collapsed and locked together. sensor unit could not be removed had to cut stem from sensor and destroyed sensor

I installed this system in a 2003 Toyota which doesn't have OEM TPMS to replace a cap-type aftermarket TPMS which I thought stood out too much on the wheels. I have the tools to break the bead on a car tire so it was easy enough to install these in place of the original rubber stems. I like how the screen mounts permanently on the windshield and is charged off of solar. I installed everything and the sensors all read out in the correct location. I'm not sure they are accurate based on 2 air pumps I used that have their own gauges but I'll try it with a new stick gauge to be sure- they seem to read low by 4-5 psi. I would be curious to know where to get replacement sensors when the batteries in these sensors die.

About 2 months after purchasing this item, the display light went out and they gave me credit for the cost of it, so I ordered another one. Good product and works well.

It doesn't charge well with solar power but I can still manually charge it and the readings are pretty accurate.

This was a waste of money I want my money back the readings are in accurate and the beeping on it is so annoying huge mistake to buy this
