I have always been sceptical about the need for a rice cooker - however we eat plenty of rice in our house so thought it was a good investment. I found the Yokekon and bought it as a smaller, smarter cooker vs the others. It cooks multiple types or rice as well and worked great on brown rice which was the first trial I ran. It can also do Sushi (really hard to make) and regular white rice among others. The unit itself is sleek and black and comes with touch screen so no buttons. This makes it really easy to swipe clean after use. The machine is simple to use and looks sleek. My one gripe is that there is no count down timer - I think this would be really helpful. You can however set it for future so if you know when you are eating you can just set this first and then forget! Really good feature

This rice cooker is great if you’re cooking for two. I love using the low carb feature, that’s what I normally use, as I love rice and now that they are healthy it’s a win win! It’s really easy to use, add your ingredients, select what you’re cooking and press start. Or delay the time, I use delay time when I’m going out, I set the time and by the time I’m back the food is ready excellent. It’s really easy to clean, I use washing up liquid and a sponge and the outside I use a cloth. Love the size I put it in the cupboard after use. Just one con not a big deal but I’ll mention it, when it’s cooking low carb rice there is no time so you have no idea how long it will take, you do get use to it normally just over 20 minutes and rice are ready. Over great quality rice cooker and valve for money in my opinion!

Great rice cooker, Not a basic model but also not the several £100's that the big names charge. Its also an excellent steamer with a Stainless steel container, It even has a setting for healthy rice where most of the starch is washed out into the water below. I am single so I steam a bunch of frozen veggies, and then set it up for one person rice, and put the veggies that i just steamed on top of the uncooked rice and set it to cook and I get my rice and veggies hot and ready to serve at the same time. I have NEVER had burnt rice, it comes out perfect every time.

Having recently reviewed a different rice cooker, I found this one had a better design and more features. The touchscreen LCD display is very easy to use. The setup was incredibly easy and this was ready to go within minutes. This rice cooker is very easy to use and produces a good result so would definitely recommend it. We did have a rice cooker, however my daughter has decided to take it back to uni with her, so we decided to get a new one, but with digital cooking control. This one ticked all the boxes and, I have to admit, is perfect for our needs. We've just used this for the first time and we're really pleased with the rice that cooked. We used the largest setting of 3 cups, designed as portions for 3 people, however it was actually more than enough for the 4 of us. Operation is really simple. Put the number of cups of rice in that you need, top up the water to the relevant level, based on the number of cups. If needed, you can also wash the rice, but the white rice we used didn't require it. After leaving the rice to cook, it completed in no time and finished with a reassuring beep and switched to the keep warm setting. The rice cooks really nice. It's evenly cooked and non-starchy. There's also no draining needed. I just transferred it to a bowl and fluffed it up, then tossed in some vegetables that I'd cooked. On the subject of vegetables, this also has a steamer basket, so you can steam veg or other foods. I see no reason why you couldn't also cook pasta in this. This reassuringly has a UK fused plug, which connects at the back, so can easily be removed when it's time to clean. To be fair, all that it needed after use was a quick wipe over on the inside of the lid and a quick wash of the rice bowl. In summary, this is a fantastic little rice cooked. It's compact, great if you have limited space and cooks rice in little time. You can also set timers too. This makes it ideal when you're on holiday (camping etc) as you can go out for the day and set it to cook rice for you on your return. Most definitely well recommended.

this product is superb.I bought it as a gift for my friends because they wanted a rice cooker, and I was surprised to see that they had also bought the same product. We cooked together with it, and I can say that the product not only matches the description but is also of high quality, easy to use, the food is delicious and it is easy to clean. Need to remark that item is coming in very good and strong package. I attached some pictures to see how item look when it s packed and cocked meals. even it is small it’s great and was ideal for 3 of us. So it is a perfect gift for a small family, a couple at a single friend.
