Why does the description say it has a microphone when it does not?

It says it has "mic" because it has the 4th conductor used for mic. Headsets such as the Sony Gold headsets have a built in mic and a 4 conductor wire is needed for full functionality.

Can i plug it into my mic and well it work

A headphone cable like this with three rings will work with any jack, and is backwards compatible to jacks that previously took a cable with two rings. It's if you use a cable with two rings with a jack with three rings that you may lose some functionality.

Can this be made into coils? (Wound into circles then heated)

Due to the higher quality of the cable portion itself, it would be somewhat resistant to heating. But this might be something you find desirable depending on your intended use over cheap cables with sheathing material that might burn up too quickly.

Will this connect to my car stereo and my android phone and take calls when the a call inteterrupts my music?

No. It did no work on my phone output to my car radio input. I found an old similar item from my old pc and that works. I think to quality of this wire is not as good compared to a cheap pc 3.5 mini jack. But I would think it will work on my Woojer.
