AIRCARE HDC1 Replacement Wicking Humidifier Filter, 2-Pack

Doesn't last as long as original filters from Sears. Filter material gets "mushy" after 4-5 weeks of use.

We have an old Sears Kenmore humidifier that keeps chugging along. We've ordered 3rd party filters before that were either poorly made, or didn't fit properly, or both. These ones match the size and style of the OEM versions, and work great.BTW, I have taped a doubled piece of window screening on the back of the humidifier at the air inlet. This does SLIGHTLY restrict the flow of air, as evidenced by the slight change in tone, and slight increase in sound of the fan when the screening is in place, but the humidifier still works fine (as evidenced by roughly comparable amount of water usage. The benefit is that the screening can be easily removed, rinsed under running water, dried, and replaced. Some house dust still gets through, but the screening stops a lot of it. Consequently, we can get a full season of usage out of each air filter wick... perhaps flipping it over once, mid-winter. Eventually, mineral deposits become too great.

Our Humidifier is necessary for our cold Minnesota winters. Each year we toss the filters when done for the season and replace them with new ones when we set up again. We have had this humidifier for several years and not only appreciate that we can still get filters for it, but how quickly they are delivered. Great value for the money!

This is just what I was looking for, it is the perfect size and shape. I have an older humidifier and it is often hard to find the filters in the store. This one met all my needs.

Good Quality

One of the filter's was in two pieces the glue let go about two inches in. I have used this brand of filter's for a number of years and have been very happy! I will continue to use Moist Air product'e with out hesitation.

These filters fit my whole home humidifier that I purchased at Sears MANY years ago. They're only good for one season, or about 4 months. I use them during the fall and winter when I run the heater to keep moisture in the air.

Our humidifier is about 30 years old and we hadn't used it for a couple of years. The wicking filters were dried, and covered with calcium build-up. It is a Kenmore from Sears which is no longer around. I did not want to have to purchase a new unit since it worked fine when we last used it. Amazon listed a bunch of different wicking filters in different shapes and sizes, so it took me a bit to find the one that I hoped would fit. I was very happy when they arrived and they fit nicely into the holders and the machine is working like new.
