This is so fun growing these kits! I bought the lions mane and blue oyster kits and they both are doing just fine! I started with the lions mane first and it’s supposed to be more difficult but so far it’s not hard at all and it’s growing nicely! It’s just a matter of paying attention to them and following instructions. Highly recommended !

I tried multiple mushroom growing kits. One was an oyster mushroom from another company and the other was Bloombox with Lion's Mane. The Oyster mushroom kit grew 1 mushroom while the Bloombox Lion's Mane kit grew two large clusters on the front and then on the back. Instructions were easy to follow and when I reached out to customer service about a question about an optional water bottle sprayer they responded back immediately. It was great to be able to grow a beneficial mushroom like Lion's Mane at home and I highly recommend the Bloombox.

I love the ease of this all inclusive kit. Just follow the simple directions on the side and sit in indirect sunlight.Not having luck with the lions mane but the customer service is excellent and they sent me a new box to try again. I should’ve probably started out with oyster mushrooms.Update:This kit worked great! I had them on a plant stand and covered them with a thin clear garbage bag and then put a humidifier under it to get them to finally bloom! When you slice into it out some water in it also. That helps! When you get your mushrooms and cut them off they will grow again so keep doing what you’re doing! They didn’t work with just the cups of water and spray. I humidified for a few hours morning and evening.

I have been plant-based for about a month now and wanted to try lions mane out. It’s been impossible to find it near me so I purchased this kit. The directions were ok but it did leave me confused on a few things (how much to spray, how often, is the bag absolutely necessary, etc.) I sat it out in the sun, sprayed it twice a day and brought it in during the time. I followed what others who had success did but it never grew. Nothing popped out whatsoever. Maybe it was something I did but I was excited and cared for it everyday for 2 weeks and nothing. I didn’t care to try cutting the back to retry growing because it appeared ruined. Bubbly wet white stuff consumed it and it just didn’t give off healthy soil. I’m glad it worked for others, but unfortunately, I couldn’t get a single thing to come out of it no matter how much I cared for it.

After growing for 11 days I’m pretty impressed. The spray bottle is glass but it’s junk. I used a misting bottle and misted twice a day for 1 week but after that just once a day and it looks awesome.

These kits are really well designed and quality accessories are included. They're the best kits I've tried and I've tried almost every brand on amazon. Unfortunately, the two times I've ordered this kit both times the mycelium spawn block arrived severely damaged and with unhealthy mycelium. I don't know if its a problem in the amazon warehouse or if it is with the shipping carrier, but the first kit's block was dehydrated and discolored, with dead mycelium covering half of it, as if it never finished colonizing and then was left on a shelf in the dry for ages. The second kit's block was totally obliterated by mechanical stress. It wasn't a block so much as it was a bag full of loose chunks. There was no way to open it to rehydrate it and spawn from it, it would have all fallen out. So I'm sending my kits in for a refund.

This was a christmas present for someone, and they really ended up liking it, it was fun and easy to grow. There were other items that were similarly offered elsewhere but this was for a good price. I would buy this again.
