Here in Quebec research made by cooking students and the Chef, on what where the best tongs on the market had out of 27 trials, pulled out a couple of items that stood out. Joseph Joseph Elevate Fusion Set of 2 Silicone Tongs with Integrated Tool Rests, Stainless Steel were put at the front because they keep open, have a solid build, the silicon tongs are fasten securely and have a slight angle, very practical, they open wide, so you can grip a tenderloin or steaks etc. I found these qualities apply to the small one I discovered. So different that the cheap models. Comfortable and Efficient every time. These are the Best, 5*****

Love Joseph Joseph, always great products and easy to use. These are my go to tongs. Great that you have 2 different sizes, the larger for steaks and the smaller for shrimp and veggies. Very easy to use and clean, also store very easily.

This set is perfect for my big cooking needs. Going to look for more tongs by the same brand in smaller sizes because I need to replace my small tongs too!

They work really well and you have to keep them open when you rest them on the counter or else they may tip if closed. I wish the close/open mechanism was the opposite (push to close vs push to open)

Well constructed, the metal is thick, the hinge pin is sturdy, and the push locking mechanism is way nicer than the ring covered with silicone that other brands use. I never thought I would get much use out of the slimmer tongs, but they are fantastic for anything delicate and because the tips are straight unlike the curved larger tongs, you can have a lot finer control for picking up small or thin objects such as individual noodles.

This tong is good for non-stick pans as the grippers don’t scratch (they are a silicone-like material) The only issue is that the design of the tips makes it hard to pick up food. The tips of the jaws don’t completely close.

These are the best tongs for flipping and cooking on teflon surfaces. Great for frying dumplings, flipping bacon and anything small. Metal tongs have ruined my past teflon pans but I am really happy with the look and feel of these. I have carpal tunnel in my wrist and metal tongs hurt my hand - these are really ergonomic.

Je reviens sur mon précédent avis. Ces deux pinces font tout le contraire de ce qu'elles doivent faire. Les aliments glissent du fait des becs en silicone, qui plus est si les aliments sont gras. Résultat : votre travail est cochonné d'où énervement, frustration et perte de temps. Joseph Joseph propose une pince entièrement en plastique autrement plus efficace. J'aurais mieux fait d'en acheter une deuxième de cette sorte, plutôt que d'acheter ces 2 nullités en inox-silicone.

So pleased with this purchase. Very easy to clean and perfect for cooking without damaging any nonstick cookware. The little “feet” on the side are such a nice feature so you can set the tongs down without messing the counter. Joseph Joseph products are amazing as always.

Great tongs, they are a clever design which allows you to lock them in a closed position for storing.
