Very bright light
Ordered this dynamo bike light because the solar powered light I have is not very bright and does not last long. This light is super bright and I don’t have to worry about charging it.The instructions for installation need to be better just as some other people mentioned. They are so small, it’s hard to tell from the picture what goes where. Aside from that I am very happy.

Still good
I have been using it for 2 months already. The headlight works well, periodically needs a position adjustment , emits a light sound when working.09/15/22 Still using it. It is fastened at the right side of wife’s bicycle, would buy another if the make it for the left side of bike.

Good value for $30, all things considered
Pros===1. It's quite bright, even in daylight.2. The assembly difficulties other reviewers described appear to have been addressed by now shipping the light with the confusing nuts etc pre-attached the correct bolt. Otherwise, I would have been really confused too.Cons===1. The light is designed to be attached to the right of the front wheel, which means you can't adjust it so that it points at oncoming cars on your left, for example on narrow two-lane roads. If you try to point the light even a little to the left, it just shines on the front of the tire (on my bike, anyway). So if you want to buy this light, you have to be OK with the light shining straight ahead. (It seems to me the manufacturer could solve this problem by redesigning the light to be installed on the left of the front wheel.)2. I had to buy a $10 hacksaw on Amazon to shorten the bolts, because they were sticking between my spokes. That was about 10 minutes extra elbow grease, too.3. The spinning of the dynamo is kind of loud. But for $30, I'm not complaining; just listing that as a Con.4. It took me a bit to figure out how to hold the assembly so that it corresponded to the diagram in the instructions. However, it helped a lot that I expected something like this, based on the other reviewers' descriptions of difficulties with the instructions. Once I'd figured out what the picture was showing, it was quite easy to install the light.5. When your bike stops, the light stops shining too. There's no capacitor or extra battery to keep the light on for a few seconds or minutes. But again, for $30, I'd expect that.

Will it fit?
I bought it intentionally because I wanted a dynamo generator for my grid-is-down-and-ain’t-coming-back-soon bicycle sump pump project. Everything they say in reviews seems correct.- it doesn’t fit the rear suspension mountain bike where I need to mount the dynamo.- when I took the headlight off the unit, the screw fell out of the housing, and couldn’t be reattached without taking the light apart.- upon cutting the light open because it is not serviceable, the ground broke at the solder. So, after welding up a cool little mount from 1/4 rerod, the dynamo mounted to the rear suspension. The headlight is put back together, mounted on the handlebar, its wired up and it works. So I’m happy. But you probably don’t have that in mind. So I have a 70ish year old bike parked right next to it. The unit is designed to mount to the front fork and project the light forward. I think it would fit this cool old 26” 3 speed cruiser on the front fork. I do not think it will fit any bike with a suspension, front or rear. I don’t think it will fit the old cruiser on the rear, because if brake interference. So if you’ve got a non-suspension front fork, it probably works. Anything else, you could be welding and rewiring.I whatever you do, don’t take the light off unless you’re ready to cut it up to put it back together. But it seems to work well, so 3 stars.

works!
I am not a wiz at putting things together but with the instructions and photos which were included, I had no problem installing this on my bike. It works just as it is advertised.

The bike light.
Takes about 20-30 minutes to install and never have to worry about charging the battery. 200 lumin is bright enough to see even in daylight under shade. There is really no need of a 1000 lumin bike light, which just blinds other cyclers in opposite direction and cause more danger.
