How do you get a melting snowman out of your carpet?

Try white vinegar in a white cloth or paper towel. Dab it to be sure it doesn't ruin carpet . For play dough, I pour white vinegar on it & it melts as I rub to get it all. Good luck

What is the snowman made of? It left a stain on my unpolished granite fireplace. Any suggestions on how to clean?

Not sure what it is made of, but occasionally I get marks on my granite from liquid handsoap and rubbing alcohol removes those. It's worth a try. You have to wipe it on and leave for a little while and the stain disappears. Good luck!
