I recently purchased these amazon basic towels, and after using it daily for a week, here’s my breakdown: Design: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5) Its a towel. It looks OK, and sadly is very, very dark; much darker than in the description. Fit: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) It is a standard size and fits around the body well. Practicality: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2/5) OMG does it shed so much, this is the single biggest issue. It also doesn't absorb as much as my old towels do but at this price point, what can be expected. Thickness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5) It's a reasonable thickness, not too thin. _______________________________________ Final Verdict: 3/5 ⭐ Solid towel that dries in a pinch, but more work needs to go into fixing the lint/shedding issue.

Great quality towels
These towels are great. I got the black ones as I actually use them by the back door to soak up and hide the paw prints that come in from the garden on a muddy day. Wash well and very happy with them.

Good Value - Wash them to plump them up from the packaging
Good mid-weight towels, make sure you wash them before use or even before you decide if they are any good. The are delivered in a very small box and are very compressed so it's hard to evaluate them until they're washed. They plump up a lot when washed and the colour doesn't run (I put an old white tea towel in the wash and it's still white!) The towels aren't luxury thickness but are very good for the money.
