Excellent Study to Help Understand An Often Intimidating Book
I am so grateful to Jen Wilkin for this Bible study. She is an excellent teacher and there is no way I would have even begun to grasp the full message of Revelations without guided help. You will be pushed to dig in which is great, and I highly recommend her video sessions which are excellent review of each study section, and super well done. I only wish the book had been spiral bound, as you do flip around a lot and it would make it easier. I ended up tearing out the back section where the Book Of Revelations is printed, so I could have it side by side as I highlighted, underlined etc. as I went through. I have a very different perspective on what the Book of Revelations is telling us now, and it is powerful. Don't be intimidated any longer by this scripture, let Jen help you understand.

End Times Hope for the Future
Jen Wilkin studies are not for the weak! So much in depth learning...she's an excellent Bible teacher. That said, if you are looking for a better understanding of an often misunderstood book of the Bible, or if you want to know more about King Jesus and his return to claim those who have placed their faith in Him for salvation...this is a wonderful study. It includes a code to access the video teaching that gies along with the study guide. Highly recommend!

So interesting!
Jen Wilkin is an amazing Bible teacher. She really knows her stuff, but is about as unpretentious as one can be. My ladies’ Bible study group will be starting this in September but, as you can see, I’ve already purchased it. We are living in the last days, which is so exciting!I came back after reading the one-star reviews. Please take the following in the spirit it was intended. One reviewer complained that she didn’t know this was a Bible study for women. According to the New Testament [predominantly Paul’s instruction], women are not to speak up in the church, nor teach men. It doesn’t mean women are too stupid to understand, mind you. I’m not married but, if I have some concern or other, I talk to one of our pastors about it and give them the choice of whether they think it merits discussion with the other male leaders of the church [because they are the ones ultimately accountable to God], or whether my premise is either incorrect [that very rarely happens, but I give them the grace to correct me so I do not go astray nor lead others down the wrong path (those to whom it is my responsibility but also my joy to share the gospel) and I do not get all worked up about it]; somewhat correct [in need of some tweaking or correction], or completely wise, in which case I say “Soli Deo Gloria” [glory to God alone]. If a man CHOOSES to come to the Bible study, he is putting HIMSELF under the teaching [authority] of a woman—he is not there to take over. I have never seen that happen in church [Sunday School] but there are prominent and godly female teachers who, when they film sessions, sometimes I see men in the congregation. I am NOT speaking of any Word of Faith [“prosperity gospel”] teachers and preachers. I will leave you to look it up.Secondly, someone said that lesson 2 has 68 questions. It does not; it has 30 questions. As with any Bible study, you get out of it what you put into it. When you buy the book with video access on Amazon or Lifeway for $24.99 + tax, you have purchased unlimited access to them, either by going to lifeway.com and clicking or tapping on “My Library” or through the app on your phone or tablet. There’s not one thing that says you can’t take as long as you need, even after the course of the study with your group is complete, to go through and finish answering the questions and watch the videos as often as you would like.Lastly, PLEASE don’t quit! You won’t be sorry. Are you aware that Revelation is the only book in the Bible which contains a promise to those who read it? “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” [Revelation 1:3 NASB]

Challenging, intense, time-intensive and well worth it
This is my first Jen Wilkin study (IYKYK...probably) and I don't know that I've ever done a more challenging Bible study. Or, a better written one. It is extremely time-intensive and also will flex your Bible brain muscle by challenging you to make connections on your own that many of us are (I am) used to having made for me.Don't get discouraged in the 'not-knowing' or if life gets in the way and you get 'behind.' God will honor the effort and you'll get what you're meant to. This study requires comfort with not-knowing and/or understanding every individual point and concept--you'll be surprised and I hope, encouraged, by how much you absorb over the weeks of the study. This focuses on teaching through the meaning and symbolism of Revelation as the early church would have received and understood it, without attempt to link to current/world events, people, politics, etc. If you are looking to understand or frame current geopolitics through a Revelation lens, this is not that. The book of Revelation is broken into 10 chunks of text, each of which is studied in deep detail over a week. There are numerous scriptural cross-references to Old Testament prophecy and scriptures to 'look back' at how elements in Revelation show up in and tie directly back to preceding Biblical prophecy or events. The study is meant to be done in three steps: homework/questions completed individually, discussed in a small group, and then followed by a teaching video in which Jen Wilkin connects dots and brings concepts together. The video is not designed to stand alone and might confuse more than it clarifies otherwise (at least it would have me).Highly recommended.

Revelation is a Blessing!
If you've veered away from studying Revelation because of things you've heard or not being able to understand what you are reading, Jen Wilkin helps you see the blessedness in the one who, in fact, reads it aloud (Rev 1:3)!! With an inductive study style, easy-to-follow instruction, this study is an absolute Must Have for anyone who would like to enlarge their hope, their compassion, their trust in the Lord. This study is, by far, one of my favorite studies I have ever done.

EXCELLENT STUDY!
Excellent study! I love hearing the insight and digging deeper into the word. I also learned that life has an app now that you can access on your TV instead of only watching on your phone or iPad.
