This is a staple in our house
We all know salmon is so healthy for you but this makes it convenient and readily available. I love having shelf stable protein available to me when I want something quick to eat. I also like keeping my pantry stocked with this in case of some type of natural disaster and I need something healthy to eat. StarKist is a brand I trust and the quality of this meat meets my expectations. It taste fresh and firm, not soggy. And is a great alternative to tuna, which we also love but appreciate variety.

Excellent choice over tuna. Sometimes salmon has a very fishy taste. This is not. It’s good with salads or in a salad by itself.

Just enough salmon for one.
I live alone and hate opening up a can of salmon when I only need enough for 2 salmon patties. This product solves that problem. When I want salmon patties, I now can open a packet of salmon and use only what I need...no waste, no trying to store leftover salmon in the fridge...no being stuck eating salmon for days.

Salmon Mush
I've been using this StarKist Wild Pink Salmon pouch product for many months in salmon stir-frys. It's okay for that purpose. I characterize this product as "salmon mush." It has the consistency of applesauce. It often sticks to inside corners of the pouch, so I have to use a spoon to try to scrape out the mush. That causes some waste. If you're looking for a chunky salmon product, this is certainly not it.
