Sonic Breeze 16" Oscillating Wall Mount Fan 90 Degree, 3-Speed, Low Noise

New but works well so far, mounted easy, seems like a sturdy build.

Lasted one day and now its not oscillating. Just floppy now. Shoulda known it was a bad buy from all the bad reviews. Also wasted $3 on a stupid warranty thinking it would Atleast last a few months

Bought this to move air around our great room. Mounted it just above head level and set it to oscillate on low speed. Pull it down and take it apart to clean the blades and cage weekly (we have pets and smoke so dust build-up is an issue everywhere). Squeak mentioned in other reviews developed after first month and disassembly to get at the offending parts wasn't an option - the motor shroud screws stripped-out. So, we began shutting it off when we were doing quiet activities. After 10 months of use, I turned it on one evening and it hummed and did nothing. Armature had seized to the bushings and motor was developing a LOT of heat. My autopsy was limited by the stripped shroud screws so I broke the plastic shroud off. The brass bushing at the leading / blade end of the armature was visibly oval! Had I not stripped the screws, this would have been one of my 3-in-1 oil points during cleaning.My take-away: The price on this fan was excellent and I got exactly what I paid for - accelerated obsolescence. If you need it only very occasionally and won't be running it very much then it's a great product. If you need it for continuous service go with a pricier or industrial model. And for god's sake, don't strip the motor shroud screws!

This product was easy to install and works like a charm. It's perfect for my outdoor balcony. Will probably get another one for my patio.

This fan does move some air, especially on high, but have several issues with oscillation. After a few weeks, it started getting very noisy/squeaky while oscillating. Even before that, it had irregular clicks and vibrations in the fan that were loud. The oscillation can only be controlled by a string, btw, and that feels like it’s one bad pull from getting yanked off. I’ve decided to leave it in one position. Had to use some pliers to get the cage to secure to the back section, too. Just not very well constructed, and the oscillation feature is pretty much a bust. If you’re reading this, I’d spend a little more $ and find a better product. If you just need a stationary fan, it might work for you. Overall, I’m pretty disappointed.

Use this fan a lot actually. If you don't use the oscillating feature, then you will be pleased with this purchase.I used the oscillating function for about 12 hours over 2 days before it started to develop a squeak. This got progressively worse, and WD-40 doesn't seem to fix it without taking it apart to lubricate the exact parts effected.

Loved it but now it's broken after only a few months

Bought it for my daughters bedroom, she didn't want it, so I put it on my back porch. I live in grand bay al. Its hot and humid. This fan is great for a breeze. Will purchase another soon for other side of porch and other porches!
