I make sourdough pretty much every day. For years. Make 2 give one away, daily. Our family and neighbors can’t get enough and I feel like I’ve perfected it.For years I’ve used parchment paper, lots of it. It’s a pain and expensive to constantly use it.I saw these thought it may be worth a try.So happy I did!!!I’ve used them every day for about 6 months now.My concerns in the beginning were if they would leech silicon into my bread, given that I hit my loaves at 500 degrees for the first 7 minutes. And we are 95% organic in this family and stay away from plastics and preservatives as much as we can.I see no signs of these breaking down so far, and they are truly great. Seems well made, to last.And so much easier to tuck loaves, and put in and out of the crock pot.I felt it necessary to leave this review, I don’t usually unless something is really good or bad, and these are great.I see there’s a ton of copy cats out there selling this same item and for all I know this is one too, but I can only speak for this brand and they work great, so whatever.Pictures of the last 4 masterpieces I made today and yesterday.

This worked perfect for what it was bought for. I made sourdough bread and in the Dutch oven put rice down first then put this directly on top and worked perfect! No burnt bread and nice to use for size. Easy removal and the quality is top notch! Nothing got stuck to it or anything!

These are great silicone mats for baking sourdough bread. They keep my pot clean and are super easy to clean. I love the turquoise color!

The slings are helpful to remove bread from very hot Dutch ovens I bake in. Keeps me from getting burned. Have used in oven temperatures up to 450 degrees F but not hotter.

Like a lot of people I have been baking a lot of sourdough lately and I get tired of using parchment paper all the time. These make it easy for me to take the bread out and to put it in without burning myself and they are super easy to wash. I hope we recommend them for anyone making a lot of bread who does not want to Keep throwing away parchment after using it.

If you do a double oven bread to make that delectable crusty crust, one of these slings is a great way to not waste parchment paper AND also not burn the crap out of yourself.
