Smilatte 16 OZ Porcelain Coffee Mug, Classic Blank Ceramic Cup with Large Handle for Tea Latte Cappuccino, White

This is a perfect non-steel 16 oz coffee mug. Finally, I have a nice big coffee mug that is comfortable and I can throw in the microwave to warm up my coffee. For years now, I have been using steel coffee mugs because I was tired of dropping and cracking my mugs. Sure enough, steel mugs solved that problem. But when the coffee got cold, I couldn't just throw the mug into the micro. So, I needed a ceramic mug, and I asked my wife to buy me one since she's always going to TJ Maxx and Ross. She buys me this mug that says "Lady Boss". I'm not insecure so what the heck, I just use it. But then I have a Zoom meeting and I don't feel like explaining why I self proclaim myself to be a Lady Boss. I return it to my wife. Then she buys me another mug in a nice blue color. But this mug has a noxious perfume smell that won't wash off, and I feel like puking after every sip. So, I do the natural thing, I go to Amazon and buy this mug. It is made of porcelain and can go in the microwave. It is 16 ounces so I can make a nice big cup of black coffee. It is all white with any attitude. And as a bonus the handle is big and comfortable. Problem solved.

I was tired of my old 12oz coffee mug, mostly because it was too small for certain coffee drinks I've been making with my Nespresso machine. Making black coffee or with a little added creamer was fine, but adding frothed milk, or just milk at all, could push a bit of coffee over the edge. This mug solves all that and does it beautifully. It is a perfect, gorgeous red that shines like it's wet. The handle is large enough for me to get all 4 fingers of my hand through it, but you can also hold it comfortably with 3 or fewer, whatever your preferred hold. The mug body is as thick as a quality mug should be, it's not some cheap, thin junk. It's truly nice. As a lover of red, especially this basic "perfect" red I ordered, this is the nicest mug I've ever owned. Yes, it's just a mug, but it mugs better than the other mugs mug! The only thing that would make it better is if I could convince my wife to let me buy 11 more mugs just like it to replace our old, mixed pile of mugs we have now!

UPDATE: I still stand by my review! In fact after six months and daily intensive use, I've bought more! Quality: Good to Very Good. Clean lines, nicely finished. Grip Size: I have very big hands and often carry a couple of cups at a time. The handles on these are sizable and well formed so my big fingers can easily and safely grip them. While I have yet to perform an ounce verification test, I'd say they very nealy hold 16 oz. But I'll get back to you all. Packaging: Best. You would have to launch the box out of a canon in order to damage one of thes ion transit. Never say never, but pretty well packaged. I like them enough that I bought two more, and will probably buy a few mpore in a month or so.

Very attractive cup, pure white, modern, feels good to hold, stable. It's a bit smaller than 16 oz even if filled to the brim, so if the full 16 oz is important to you, this isn't the cup to choose. I ended up continuing to use my old stained Starbucks mug that actually holds 2 cups, but it was too attractive to return. My guests often comment on how much they like they cup.

My wife loves this coffee mug, she loves the size, color, it keeps her coffee hot and is easy to handle.

I love my read cup, I love the large handle.
