SOLA Kids Ski Set – Beginner Cross Country Skis with Poles and Adjustable Bindings for Ages 3–4, Backyard Winter Fun

Our little one (16 months) went skiing for the first time on these recently. They are super easy to use, carry and store. His snow boots fit well and they have a pre-made hole in the tips so we added a string to keep his skis together. Only downside was that we pulled on one of the straps and the clip broke off. We were able to tie it and make it work. Hopefully it works again for next time!

Well made, nicely finished, all the features of "big" skis. Definitely for training only, not for shredding big hills. Even better in person than in pictures! Great price, too...bought for kids 24-26 months.

Much better than another set I ordered on Amazon. I agree with another reviewer that the plastic is too slippery. However, I sanded the bases to dull the shine and increase friction. Then my son could more usefully stand up, learn to balance and do some basic skiing with assistance. Another reviewer mentioned difficulty getting boots to stay in. I used insulated toddler boots with thick rubber soles and worked very well. We did not try the poles.

We got this as a Christmas gift for our child and just opened to find the basket of the ski pole is broken and the skis are scratched. It’s now Christmas and too late to return or exchange, so this is extremely disappointing. Would not recommend this product.

This might be more of a review of my child, instead of the product. Started my two year old skiing this year. First time up we rented proper skis with bindings. He had a blast, was very balanced, and wanted his own pair. We ordered him this set thinking "whatever, he's not on the black diamond slopes, so ...." The quality of the set is excellent, and the poles are safe for toddler use. The problem is that the binding provide no support. I think my kid was actually using the bindings to lean against and balance. He couldn't stand up, ergo he hated these skis. If your kid can handle the bindings, this is a great deal.

Great little skis for your child to learn on, my son loves these and I can’t wait to see him on the hill soon!

Item is fine but one ski is missing all the buckles. Don’t want to waste time returning and waiting for another pair, I feel like this should have been checked before it even left the manufacturer.

The strap around the shoes is flimsy and not strong enough to hold the foot in.
