Q: Will the deck power these enough to match a 10 inch sub that has amp?

Probably not. I recommend getting an amp for these 6x9's. My deck can push them but not enough power for bass or loudness. If u want ur deck to push get lower watt 6x9's as deck are only 50 watt per channel. Figure ur wattage by multiplying by .0717. So 200x .0717= 14.34 rms total. 50 watt is 3.8 rms. Hope this will help you and others out as i dont explain this much but figuring it out for myself.

To my understanding, they're 600 watts per speaker, 300 RMS. I originally thought 600 per pair but on each speaker, it has 600 watts max/300 RMS.

The Boss CH6940 is a Great Quality 500watt Speaker System! I should fit in your mid-size Malibu! My best advice, check your speaker area size & compared to the Boss Speakers Specifications Size you'll see if you need an adapter or maybe just Slight Modification of your speaker area!
