NO it does not come with a connector cable. If you buy the MX500 from Crucial you can also buy the appropriate cable for Laptop, or a PC. Alternately you can buy MX500 and the appropriate cable on Amazon

Does this work with dell inspiron 1525 i tried the bx120gb did not fitted?

This will work with your Dell Inspiron. It will replace the HDD in any laptop, and can be used in a desktop as well.

do i need anything else to install in a laptop

If you want to clone your existing hard disk then you will need something to plug the new drive in your laptop so that you can have both disks working at the same time. You can buy a hard drive case USB3 (or USB2 if your laptop doesn’t have a USB3 port). The ssd then plugs into this so you can connect it to your laptop and clone it. The case will cost less than £10 and you can use marcum reflect software (the free version) to copy (clone) the drive. It’s just then a matter of removing the ssd from the case , removing the hard disk from the laptop and swapping them over. When you reboot the laptop with the ssd it should boot up exactly as before. If you are replacing a mechanical drive with an ssd, it will just be a lot faster booting.

Is this compatible with HP Pavilion dv6-2105ea?

From a quick online search of your laptop, yes you should be able to use this as your laptop currently has a 500GB 2.5" HDD. If you know how to replace a drive, you can always open up your laptop to double check that your drive is indeed a 2.5".
