Great diy tank cover
The directions are a bit hard to read the way they are printed on the dark paper, but after figuring it out, it's pretty easy to do. This is a great idea for odd shaped aquarium and smaller ones as it is totally customizable for your tank. I used the side installation due to my tank not being as thick as needed, but it worked great. I also measured where the pump and heater cords would be and made small slots to fit the tube/ cord, and you can't even see them. Looks nice and blends in nicely with the tank without looking like i made it. Allows plenty of top lighting without having to worry admit my Beta taking a jump out of the tank. I have plenty of product left to make several more of I ever need to replace this one. Highly recommend.

Not worth it at all, spend the extra money on a good top
I bought this because at the time it was cheaper than buying a glass lid and I was on a budget. It was extremely hard to set up the instructions were unclear and in the form of a small piece of paper with small words that were hard for me to read. I was only given three corner pieces and the way the whole thing fit together was weird and came apart often. It looks okay but after about two months the adhesive on the magnets has already failed and now I have to spend the extra money on a new lid anyways. Even gorilla glue isn't enough to hold this pos together If you have an aquatic tank like me this is not for you. If you have a non-aquatic tank you might be able to make this work if you have time to sit and screw around with it for an hour just to put the lid itself together.

Pretty Good
Overall it’s pretty good. Definitely makes my tank look more polished and easier to manage when feeding. My only complaint is the first magnetic strip was slightly too short, leaving a bigger gap by my heater/filter. Still manageable by taping the netting down, but less sturdy. I have a 20 gallon long (12 1/2x 30 3/4in) so if your tank is bigger I’d suggest looking for a larger one. Other than that I was able to put together relatively simply. I preferred a tutorial on TikTok as the instructions were a bit confusing. FYI the corner pieces need to be slid on the top strip and can’t really be pushed into place. I’d suggest putting those on before the top strip(secures the net) is pushed on to the second strip. I’m pretty happy with this lid so far

Fantastic covered for my 20-gallon IM Nuvo Desktop
I am not sure why this is getting so many negative reviews if used properly. I attached this to my 20-gallon IM Nuvo Desktop aquarium and it works great! I applied it to the upper rim since it doesnt fit the top due to the glass not being thick enough but the magnetic rubber piece is thin enough so it is not very noticeable. You obviously need to clean the area to be used. I have had it on my aquarium for over 2 years and it has not detached from the tank at all, the magnet is still strong, and it's easy to remove when doing maintenance. I cut the magnet near the corners so the corners flip up (about 1.5") for feeding. I love it so much that I ordered one for my 125gallon aquarium. I have recommended this to all of my friends with aquariums and they all love it too. Try it out and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I don't expect it to last but it's fine for now.
It's fine for what it is. The instructions are fairly simple, but the hard part is getting everything to snap together. I don't think it's going to last all that long but it will do the job for now until I can get a decent lid.

Good Value
This was a gift for a friend. The price point was a good value, good quality, very durable and easy to assemble, and it's safe for the fishes and light works well and like that it has a timer. Highly recommend

Order extra magnetic strip before you make this?
Definitely don’t give you a lot of the magnetic strip. Got this one since it said it would fit my aquarium and only gave enough magnetic strip to do one side of the aquarium. Now I have to order more magnetic strip so I can finish it! So annoyed! Now I’m not sure if there is enough of the other strips to do this! Do you order two of them? Ughhhhh

Works great. Love that I can make it the size I want and need. Other reviews say it’s difficult to install but I had no issues at all. Assembly was surprisingly quick and easy even though I was only making a 3/4 cover to leave a space open which would be harder than a full cover.

Quick Review: This works well enough once you figure out which method to use and how to make it happen. Skip the first installation method and just move to the one that has you use the sides of the tank. This method is more straight forward and much quicker to do. Once the netting is secured and cut, it is surprisingly strong for what it is. Even when you cut an access hole it remains pretty tight. Note that you do not need to put the magnetic strip around the entire tank...you can cut it and space it out for larger aquariums. Simple cost effective solution, but installation may be a bit of a pain.

I've read some people say this is really difficult to put together... but I never struggled, I actually find it pretty easy. There's a video that you can watch if you need to. I've ordered this kit 3 times to put on all of my aquariums, and they've held up for months so far Just keep in mind that your water will evaporate faster

Tried to follow instructions exactly as they said and took my time with it, still didn't turn out that great. The 2 parts that hold the net come apart sometimes when pulling the net up from the side (where you're supposed to), there is not enough of the magnetic strip either. I would definitely return it if I could
