Great for sensitive skin, red or roseasea prone skin
I have sensitive red skin—so sensitive that I can't wear most makeup, and everything burns my skin. I also have rosacea and wanted to try something for the redness that wouldn’t irritate my skin. I took a risk and tried this, and I love it! While some reviews say it makes you too pale, isn't that the point, especially if you have red skin? It doesn’t burn or break out my skin, and I compared it to a product that’s triple the price from a medspa, and it works just as well, maybe even better at a good price point. Photo on right is my usual skin, left is with this product, followed by Rouse Green Setting Powder Lightweight Loose Powder Finishing Powder.

Immediate results - VERY impressive product
I just received this product yesterday and I don't usually write a review so quickly but I am so impressed! I'm in my 60s and have age spots along with blotchy redness that have been plaguing me for the last few years. I've tried numerous products with little effect. I saw an immediate difference from the first moment I smoothed this onto my face. This cream significantly reduced the appearance of the age spots and it downplayed the dark circles under my eyes. I immediately looked younger without adding any foundation. I'm ordering another jar now and I highly recommend this product.

Prefer this to Dr. Jart
I’m in my mid 30s and despite having a fair olive complexion, my cheeks have always been rosy. I don’t like full coverage foundation so most days I just want a slight evening in my skin tone. This actually does a remarkable job at toning down redness, but can be a little finicky. Here’s what I have found helps if you have normal/dehydrated skin:1) apply over moisturizer. On it’s own, it’s a little bit dry and can be hard to spread.2) use way less than you think. I don’t depress the pump all the way. A pearl sized amount is all I use.3) I dot it all around and prefer a beauty sponge to blend it in so there’s no weird demarcation line around my hair.It can be slightly tacky feeling depending on what skincare you put underneath, so I always lightly powder it, but that’s my personal preference. Worn by itself with no color cosmetics, I think I look a bit washed out, but throw some bronzer on this and you look like you just have naturally beautiful skin.

Eh…had higher hopes
This product isn’t great, but it’s not horrible either. It requires the use of a brush to blend it well my skin or it looks mottled and I exfoliate regularly and occasionally derma plane as well. I’m not dark, but I’m also not porcelain white. This product washed me out quite a bit, I have to contour and highlight when I use it - which defeats the purpose. I was hoping for a less expensive alternative to the Dr. Jart version, which I can blend out quickly and evenly with my fingers - throw on some mascara and blush and run out the door days I’m running late. It doesn’t live up to my expectations.Spend the money on tried and true if you were thinking about trying this to save a few dollars.

I really like this so far!
I’m in my mid-30s and officially in my BB/CC cream era, so I do use this in place of foundation. Attached picture is in natural light near a window, no filter (but lower quality because it’s my selfie camera)—full disclosure, I did add blush, so you’ll just have to trust me when I say it did a great job of evening out my natural redness. I’m a big fan of the Dr. Jart version, but this piqued my interest. This is just different enough that I can find a place for both products in my routine. I’m very fair but have mild rosacea, so my true skin tone is always hidden by some pinkness. I really like that this comes in a pump, which makes it great for travel and I don’t have to dip my fingers into a tub; also, despite what other reviews said, I find it very easy to pump out a small amount or a larger amount depending on what I need. Just press down gently. The thick texture is also great for travel, no worry about it running around on the back of my hand once pumped or leaking out in my makeup bag. Finally, I like that this sets down on my skin with more of a matte/satin finish, since I have oily/combo skin, and doesn’t oxidize as warm as DJ. I can blend DJ in easily on my fair skin even though my undertone isn’t warm, and sometimes I do just want a bit more color, but other times I just want something that feels a little closer to my skintone, so that’s where this comes in. I can see using this one in winter or year-round when my skin is feeling more oily; and I can see using DJ when my skin feels more dry or if I need some color and glow in the summer. Long story short, I’m so excited to have this Bayfree one in my arsenal, and it’ll be my sole base makeup for an upcoming trip!

It’s ok
This covers some of my redness well but my chin is still red through all my makeup by the end of my workday. I wear this under my foundation and it’s fine. Just not a miracle worker. I don’t ever wear it alone. I have sensitive skin and have had no reactions.

Not for me
I bought this hoping for a Dr. hart alternative but I do not like the way this one sits in my skin. Also caused my skin to break out.
