Great product
I bought this to use with my Garmin 64SX. I wanted something I could put on my pack strap to keep it handy. Because it is quick release I wanted it to be chorded. While the Garmin has never pop off the quick release I have dropped it a couple times and the chord was awesome to have. The system fit perfectly with no modifications and simple on and off, but very secure. The strap attachment is good. Because it is a hard buckle with a strap it helps if the strap is the same width of the buckle (2") otherwise it is hard to secure it hard enough to prevent slipping. Mine has good padding so it fits and secures well.

Nice InReach Mini Holder
Just received this InReach Mini holder. It will be very handy having it attached to the shoulder strap on my backpack. Removes and re-attached easily. The O rings for the tether seem sturdy but time will tell on that. Very happy with initial observation of the product. Update: Used this InReach Mini holder on a 9 mile hike. Works great for attachment and re-attachment of the InReach Mini. The O ring for the tether is plastic and did fail by breaking. A small carabiner or key chain ring can be used in place of it. Manufacturer....I suggest replacing the cheap O ring for the tether with metal ones. These InReach units are not cheap items to lose out on the trail!

Great piece of equipment
I never would have thought I needed something like this, but this has been a game changer. It’s easy to take off to check, and then put right back on without having to fish for a strap to clip. It’s a simple design and very functional.

Tip: push as you turn
Going to keep this short as it’s literally just a plastic clip! Product is decently made. Seems like it will hold up well enough. The lanyard will most likely be the first thing to break but that’s easy enough to replace. Taking the device offf is easy enough but it can be a bit tricky getting it back one. One thing that I found which seems to work great so far is to give the back a push as you turn it. That has work 10/10 so far for me but your mileage may vary folks

Provides a good platform for my Garmin 66i GPS
I've used this backpack tether for about 10 hikes now. It's never come off the plastic mounting piece that attaches to my pack. It's really easy to take it off and look at the GPS. So far it's been more difficult to get it back on, but that's a minor issue because my major concern would be losing the GPS. Eventually. I'm going to figure out a good place to anchor it to my backpack strap where I can see it when I put it back on. That's the difficult part. Getting the pieces all lined up correctly so it snaps together. Sometimes I have to take the pack off to make sure I get it on correctly. But like I said earlier, I really don't want to lose the GPS. This backpack tether does an excellent job of keeping it attached to the pack.

Save your money!!! Fit is poor and GPS constantly kept coming detached and falling out of the holder attached to backpack luckily tether saved me from losing GPS unit.

works great
worked great, feels secure and I didn't have to worry about losing a GPSr, easy to use and the stretch lanyard means if you drop it it's not hitting the ground

Bought this for the girlfriend, I have the origional Garmin velcro version. We loved it. It was easy to use, simple to get used to and worked very well. Simply rotate the device 27° and lift on, put it back on it the reverse manner. We did notice that occasionally came off when she accidently knocked it with her hand causing it to rotate, but it didn't fall far thanks to the safety cord. Overall a great and durable product. I will be getting one for myself as well since the garmin velcro one has worn and the velcro doesn't stick as well as it used to.

Has good fitment, however thank goodness for the safety tether as a few times it’s unhooked from the cradle while riding. The twist lock needs a little more resistance to really hold in place. It is secure enough that I’ll keep using it and wouldn’t discourage anyone from getting it, just be aware that it may disengage unintentionally.

good concept, but plastic holding case corner broke after a few uses.
