Are these 100% sound proof? My ex likes to sing at the top of his lungs. Have to make sure I can’t hear him....

I’m guessing the exes sharing a domicile are from California; no matter the volume of the singing (or screaming) no one can afford another place to live. This is when headphones become a necessity rather than a luxury. I love my Beats, and am on my second pair, shopping for a 3rd (in 6.5 years). The first pair were destroyed when a rogue wave crashed over a wall I was walking along and drenched me (no joke). The Beats, like Gremlins, do not like water. I’ve had my second pair for 2+ years. They have suffered extreme abuse— I wear them ALL THE TIME, even to bed. I drop them on hard surfaces at least 5x a week. The last drop bike something in the arm so they no longer “cling” to my right ear. Cheaper to replace than to repair, sadly. Tip— I replace the cushions with “Wicked” brand cushions, $20 and their like brand new. I’ve replaced cushions maybe 4 times. They are definitely NOT 100% noise canceling. Here is an example-I was walking one day and it began to rain out of nowhere. I stepped into a neighbor’s carport (imagine 2 parking spots with 2 story apartment on top. I was wearing my Beats listing to a book when I heard what sounded like a police car speaker instructing a driver to pull over, that type of sound. I could not make out words. When I removed Beats I heard “PLEASE LEAVE MY GARAGE IMMEDIATELY” through a Ring-type security speaker. So… you can hear something is being said if loud enough, but not what is being said. These are a great purchase esp at $115, but if you’re looking for complete noise cancellation I recommend Sony or Bose.

Will thes work with a galaxy phone? or any android phone?

They work with any Bluetooth device.

how is the quality of the mic

Fabulous!!! Unless you have them backwards then it sounds like your in a can. The mic is angles perfectly for wearing them correctly

Perfect sound and excellent noise camcelling

I love these!! My kids purchased them for me as a present. I dislike earbuds because of the constant fiddling to keep them in my ears. I fell in love with these as soon as I put them on over my head. Bluetooth connection was super easy and the noise cancelling effects help me to escape into my own head and thoughts.

They are comfortable on the ears and sit right on the ear not around it. At first they bothered me, first try since I never wear over-ear headphones but I adjusted quickly and enjoy them without discomfort now. The sound does leak a bit so can’t blast it or else it sounds like a small speaker to everyone. Controls on the ear are easy to use. Overall good purchase, sound is really good and outside noise cancellation very well
