Mrs Mole, I'm Home!

Laugh out loud brilliance.
My 4 year old son laughs like a drain every time we read this, which is at least once a week if not more. The illustrations are stunning and the tale of poor old Morris trying to get home is great to read aloud. My son knows it off by heart and "reads" it to his baby brother who loves it too. We've given this as a birthday gift and it was a hit too. A must have on any bookshelf.

I bought this for my two year old grandson, mainly because we have moles in our garden and I wanted to explain what a mole is. It's a lovely book, very amusing, and my grandson loved it. Well illustrated, I would certainly recommend it.

Hilarious and conversation provoking
Having read Alan the aligator 1000 times already, getting "Mrs Mole , I'm home" was a natural thing to do! We weren't disappointed, the story is hilarious, we have discussions on various different topics ( geography, maps, professions) because of the book and Jarvis's illustration is always a masterpiece.

good for children and adults
My daughter loves this book and so do I. It's actually enjoyable to read and funny. I would also recommend Alan's Big Scary Teeth by Jarvis.

Good Engaging Book
Its a children's book that follows the rules for engagement. In other words it repeats the story with small changes so that my grandchildren can work out what comes next. To be honest there are thousands of similar and this is one of many very good ones.It was bought because I have an epic mole problem in my back garden and the grandchildren find it really funny when I get up in the morning and see yet another soil mountain in the middle of what used to be a nice, flat, mowed area. So they love the idea that Mrs Mole is down there with hubby digging all over looking for her.It takes some of the pain away from me and of course the grandchildren engage in the book more because its relevant.Pictures are colourful and the story is designed to hold their attention with words they can start to get a grip with.
