My son was trying to get his other toy tow trucks to actually pull other Matchbox cars, and was upset when the tow truck would break. Not this one! He LOVES it. He will play for a long time towing other little cars around and "working" on them. Great, durable toy!

This was a Christmas gift. I was disappointed to see that the tow truck has a lot of thin cheap quality stickers that were applied poorly with wrinkles and bubbles. It looked worn and used upon receipt due to these decals being so awful

Perfect for a toddler that is tough in toys! This thing has survived mud pits and the day to day. Highly recommended

Update: unfortunately it isnt very durable, the tow cord snapped after a lottle over a month. My son whose obsessed with cars (specifically disney), loved the idea and learned hoe to use it fairly quickly (he is 3) . You have to tow the cars slowly as it holds them by the wheels. He gets frusterated with that sometimes as the pinching the actual tow is easier after many uses. Its cheap enough to juat buy another, which is what I did. I give it a 3 out of 5... definitely not the quality I expected for matchbox as it is plastic with very poorly adhesive stickers. Also, it is nice that it has a little service area on the tow truck, maybe a little bit of older kods would enjoy more but it makes it difficult to drag the cars up the ramp without having to manually get them on completely. On the other hand, it is the closest thing to a tow truck for an excellent price. Its the only tow that can universally tow hot wheels, matchbox AND disney cars which is a HUGE win. I would definitely get it for kids who love cars and being able to tow. My son is really rough so I cannot fault the short lifespan, but a better quality tow line and perhaps using diecast materials especially for the frame and tow would have been an easy 5 out of 5. I love the concept and size of the truck, as my son is obsessed with cars and trying to tow them. The quality isn't what I expected from Matchbox, not so solid being kind of cheap looking plastic with barely pressed on paper stickers for windows and lights... although it wasn't a bad price and hopefully will hold up and serve it's purpose. It doesn't appear to be too durable for rough playing (toddlers) but im hoping that im proven wront. It's a gift for Christmas so I can't comment yet on its function or durability but I'll update my review once my son gets a hold of it and puts it to the test.

My 3 year old son loves this! I nearly didn’t buy it am so glad I did. Hours of play loading and fixing his matchbox and hot wheels cars (all comparable). Lots of imaginative play and a bit of peace for me! Great value at that price point too. So far has survived a lot of rough play too!
