Great fun for the kids
This spy kit is great fun to do with the kids. My nephew and I had a great time trying out all the different activities.

My 8 yr old nephew loved it.
We had fun playing with the set and learning about science and forensics. The only negative is there are not many experiments and eventually his interest waned.

Forensic Scientists Kit
This is such a fun kit (as I’ve come to expect from Thames & Kosmos)! My kits can’t wait to get their hands on this science kit. We home educate and I love the quality of educational science materials from this company. We haven’t used these laboratory tools just yet, but we have plans on the calendar to incorporate the chromatography experiment with our chemistry curriculum. (: *I’ll update following our results Also. This would make such a great gift for middle age kids!

Fun way to learn about forensic science, good for pretend play too
I got this science set for my 9-year-old son, but I think I was the one who was more excited about it. If you love watching CSI shows like I do, you'll probably love this too. I like the way they included stories to tie in to the experiments, and the explanations of the science are pretty good too. Some additional materials are needed, but all are pretty common household items or easy to find if you don't already have them (see photo). My son has tried UV-activated ink before, but this was a fun twist to pretend to be a detective searching for clues. He was very interested in checking for counterfeit bills and finding fingerprints. We haven't done all the experiments yet, but we've both enjoyed this so far. Recommend.
