on the website it mentions up to 32Gb ram and 2Tb nvme, why are those options not offered. A manual of the firmware (aka bios) configuration would be helpful as well. Once installed it works very well, it came with something installed but I did not try to use it as it was not linux based anyway.

I have this thing running KODI, Netflix, and Disney+ connected to my living room TV and surround sound system. I have a wireless keyboard with trackpad. It's snappy and energy efficient and stable. I have no complaints. But I also have realistic expectations.

A remarkably fast mini PC.Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed making set up easy. You will need a mouse, keyboard and either a monitor or TV for the initial setup. Enable remote access and you won't need them again as everything can be done with Windows Remote Desktop tool which has apps for Android and iOS as well as PC and Mac.Just remember to set up your WiFi connections to connect automatically or you may find yourself stuck!I use this TRIGKEY as part of my astronomy setup where I mount it directly to my telescope. It's really lightweight so it isn't a problem even on my super-light grab-n-go setup. I use "N.I.N.A" to control my astrophotography sessions and it runs buttery smooth, with plenty of headroom on the TRIGKEY. There should be plenty of power in reserve for future developments too.The n100 processor is exceptionally energy efficient, great for remote locations where you may want to use a power-tank. It runs really cool too so you'll never have issues with heat dissipation, especially as this also has fan cooling. The fan is near silent and totally free from vibration so it will not affect your exposures.USB ports are all of type A, useful for astronomy equipment. There's four of them which is reasonably generous. They're fast too, so getting your gigabytes of data off is really quick and painless. On that note, there's 500GB of MVMe SSD onboard, plenty of space for a long shooting session over a couple of nights. Adding an extra SSD drive internally is a simple enough job as there's a caddy built in (accessed by removing four screws) though I haven't found any need to test this.I've been using this for a little while now, both at home and at remote dark sky locations and I'm really impressed with the little unit. I can't believe how reasonably priced it was, particularly taking into account it has 16GB of RAM and a 500GB fast NVMe SSD where many have slower SSD disks.I have no reservations in recommending the TRIGKEY, it's a first-class mini PC.

Very pleasantly surprised with this PC.I was also quite surprised that it came with Windows 11 Professional edition at the price I paid for it!It did a great job of running Windows 11, although I didn't use it much as I'm actually using it to run Home Assistant (via VMWare VSphere 6.7), which meant a complete reformat.Due to the fact that the internal network card is made by Realtek (and therefore not supported by VMWare), it was a bit of a challenge to set up, and I can't use the latest version of VSphere. However, this is a very special use scenario, so definitely does not reflect on the quality or value for money of this PC.It runs very quietly. Despite having a fan, I can't hear it unless i put my ear directly to the case - which is perfect for what I wanted.Overall, I can't recommend this enough for the price.

E’ la prima volta che mi capita di avere l’occasione di provare un Mini Pc e sono stata davvero felice di avere l’opportunità di provare questo prodotto grazie ad Amazon Vine, in quanto, pur possedendo diversi PC fissi e portatili, ero rimasta “ferma” vecchi media player piuttosto scrausi che si impallavano costantemente, e sono davvero sorpresa di constatare come la tecnologia abbia fatto passi da giganti.Il prodotto arriva in una piccola scatola di cartone, brandizzata, assieme a due cavi HDMI, di cui uno cortissimo, l’alimentatore ed un piccolo adattatore per placche VESA con Viti, oltre al manuale con lingua italiana, un po’ raffazzonato, ma tant’è (anche un PC fisso, a ben intendere, manca generalmente di manuale).Il processore di fatto è un Core I3 di Ottava generazione, nella specifica 8109U, nel mio modello è presente un NVME da 256 GB Kingston, (in realtà mi aspettavo di trovarci un SSD, quindi decisamente MOLTO BENE), e teoricamente è possibile sostituirlo o aggiungere un SSD nell’alloggiamento superiore aumentarne ulteriormente la capacità di storing / scrittura, la RAM è di tipo SODIMM DDR4 3200 di Crucial , sono presenti due slot per la RAM, di cui uno vuoto, è pertanto espandibile o agevolmente sostituibile (caratteristica che reputo essenziale per aumentare la longevità del prodotto).Insomma, in 400 grammi di peso abbiamo un PC vero e proprio, con componentistica personalizzabile e con periferiche recenti e performanti.Suggerisco di utilizzare cautela nell’apertura del PC in quanto le viti presenti, nel mio caso, si sono rivelate un po’ ostiche, inoltre il vano posteriore ha incollato alloggiamento (vuoto) per un eventuale SSD e va quindi aperto “a libro”, per non compromettere il cavo flat di collegamento alla scheda.Il case è completamente di alluminio, tolta l’incertezza sui filetti, il resto della componentistica è decisamente di buon livello.Presente una scheda Bluetooth, wi-fi e gigabit Lab a completare il parco della connettività.Ok, ma come va?Beh, per un utilizzo normale, è davvero stupefacente. Va esattamente come un computer da gaming un po’ datato che avevo in salotto (ovviamente non per giocare), ma con un consumo di elettricità estremamente ridotto.All’inizio avevo pensato di utilizzarlo solo come media player, ma fondamentalmente è decisamente sprecato, gli ho quindi messo dentro un HD SSD da 2 TB, ho ordinato un banco aggiuntivo di RAM, e lo utilizzerò quotidianamente come PC destkop nel salotto di casa mia.Windows 11 non mi piace tantissimo, ma qui è in versione professional e per ora lo manterrò, valuterò eventuale trasferimento di una vecchia licenza di windows 10, ma quanto al resto è perfetto, per utilizzi HOME Office, o per la semplice produttività, è davvero incredibile e, sostanzialmente, abbastanza silenzioso, ho quindi provveduto a “staffarlo” al mio monitor stabilmente.Quanto al prezzo, se forse a 409 Euro era leggermente alto, oggi è possibile acquistarlo a 349 Euro, prezzo che sostanzialmente ritengo più che congruo.Di fatto è un PC vero e proprio, che non mi farà rimpiangere il vecchio e ingombrante case… per Home Entertainement è sprecato.
